Hoppy Ending!!

Bliss was adopted by Jessica because she wanted her bunny Scotty to have a companion. Jessica worked hard and after several weeks successfully bonded her 2 bunny family members!!

Bonding an adopted MOHRS bunny with a single bunny you already have is a process that MOHRS can help you with and is very rewarding.

Thank you Jessica for your efforts to support bunny rescue and giving Bliss her happy ending!

When one bunny is adopted, that opens space for another to be saved - win win!

***LET’S FIND THIS WONDERFUL TRIO THEIR FOREVER HOME!***

Please meet Augusta and her two daughters, a sweet bonded trio who are ready for their happily ever after! All three have been spayed, are excellent with their litter boxes, and are serious hay enthusiasts. They look forward to their evening salads and never say no to a treat!

• Augusta (momma) loves her head rubs and will melt right into the floor for them.
• Angelica (brown) and Eliza (white) are more independent and not big on being pet (for now), but they’re curious girls who will come over to see what’s happening, especially when it’s salad time.

None of them enjoy being picked up or held, but they are active, playful, and happiest zooming through tunnels together. Like most bunnies, they’re also big chewers and need plenty of safe chew toys (think apple sticks and palm plates) plus a spacious, bunny-proofed area where they can explore and exercise daily.

If you’re looking for a lively, lovable trio to fill your home with bunny antics, Augusta, Angelica, and Eliza could be the perfect match! If you are interested in this bonded trio, please email us at [email protected].

DO YOU HAVE A LITTLE EXTRA LOVE TO SHARE?

Foster homes are urgently needed. MOHRS is receiving an overwhelming number of requests to take in rabbits in need, and without more foster homes, we’re forced to say no far too often.

We need fosters for all kinds of bunnies - young and senior, small and large, bonded pairs, cuddly companions, and independent spirits.

By fostering, you provide the love and safe space; we help cover many of the costs, including approved veterinary care, and assistance with pens, bedding, and hay.
If you can open your heart and home to a rabbit in need, please email us at [email protected].

Velvet (the dark gray bunny) and her son Snickerdoodle are sweet, affectionate companions who love attention and gentle pets. They both use their litterbox well and, like most rabbits, prefer not to be picked up, but are perfectly happy sitting beside you and keeping you company.

They’ve done great with children and have calm, easygoing personalities. They haven’t been around dogs or cats.

Snickerdoodle, being younger, is a bit more curious and energetic, while Velvet is more relaxed.

They are very treat-motivated and will happily become your best friends, especially if snacks are involved!

If you’re interested in adopting Velvet and Snickerdoodle, please email us at [email protected].

***LET’S HELP ED FIND HIS FOREVER HOME!!!***

Please meet Ed - a sweet, two-year-old neutered boy who has overcome a tough start. He came from an overcrowded outdoor situation where too many rabbits were kept together, and as a result, he sustained some injuries to his back. Thanks to gentle veterinary care (and a little haircut to treat the wounds!), Ed healed beautifully.

Despite everything he’s been through, Ed is a kind and gentle soul. He can be a little shy at first (including with cameras!), but he warms up quickly - especially if treats like apples, bananas, or leafy greens are involved. He’s an excellent eater of hay, pellets, and fresh snacks, and he may thrive with a spayed female companion to share his days with.

If you think Ed might be the perfect addition to your life, please email us at: [email protected]

Help us get this handsome boy the loving home he deserves! ❤️

Please meet bonded bunny pair Dax & Toffee!
Dax (spotted) and Toffee (black) were found running loose together in October 2022 and have been inseparable ever since. Both are neutered/spayed and enjoy fresh veggies and the occasional fruit treat. They’re curious, playful, and love exploring, flipping stacking cups, chewing cardboard, and rearranging their toys. Cardboard should always be available, and bunny-proofing is important if they have free roam space.
Toffee has a persistent head tilt, but she gets around very well in her familiar environment. She hops, zooms, uses her litter box, eats hay and pellets, drinks from a bowl, and generally does everything other bunnies do - she just scans her surroundings a bit differently.
They are soft, sweet, and enjoy gentle petting once they get to know you. They have good litter habits and are a fun, loving pair.
If you’re interested in Dax and Toffee, please email [email protected].

S’mores is a young female rabbit found running loose in a neighborhood in October. She is estimated to be about 1-2-years old. She loves hay, fresh veggies, and fruit treats, and she can sniff out apples from far away.

She is very active and can jump onto furniture, so her space will need to be bunny proofed. She can seem independent at first, but when you gently pet around her ears she melts right into you and becomes a total sweetheart once she trusts you.

S’mores has done well with respectful children, cats, and dogs. She enjoys cardboard, toys, and running around where she shows off her zoomies and binkies, so she would love a safe space to play.

Her litter box habits are reasonably good, and she does best in a clean setup with hay and either a smaller starting area or multiple litter boxes. She may do well with a compatible rabbit companion or as a single rabbit. She will be spayed prior to adoption. If you are interested in adopting S’mores, please email [email protected]

LET’S FIND PUMBAA HIS FOREVER HOME!

Pumbaa is a sweet five-year-old neutered boy who has been patiently waiting far too long for his forever family. He came from an overcrowded outdoor shed, and now that he’s safe and comfortable indoors, he’s embracing the Hakuna Matata lifestyle. No worries, just love!

Curious and friendly, Pumbaa loves to explore outside of his pen and especially enjoys checking in with his humans to see what tasty goodies might be available. He would thrive in a home where he has plenty of space to hop, play, and stretch out.

If you’re ready to give Pumbaa the forever home he so deserves, please email us at [email protected].

WOO-HOO!!! Casper has been adopted and is living happily ever after with his forever family.

Named for Casper the Friendly Ghost because of his dreamy, snow-white look, this adorable bunny is equal parts silly, sweet, curious, and full of personality.

His new family can look forward to Casper’s favorite activities, including happy morning zoomies, dramatic flops onto the bathmat for naps, and thorough investigations of blanket forts and cardboard castles.

This interactive little guy will always be ready to “help” with whatever they’re doing. He tosses toys, shreds cardboard like a professional, digs enthusiastically through paper shavings in search of hidden goodies, and follows his people from room to room to make sure he doesn’t miss a thing.

Enjoy a most beautiful life, Casper 👻

Danny is named in honor of his rescuer, Danielle, who teamed up with her neighbors to safely catch him after he was found running loose in their neighborhood.

This sweet, friendly young boy is wonderful with children and does well with dogs in the home. He is still growing, has excellent litter box habits, and is learning that life can be safe and kind.
After his neuter and wellness check, Danny will be ready to find a loving forever home and would also be happy to have a female bunny companion.

If you would like to give Danny the happy ending he deserves after a rough start in life, please email us at [email protected].
