🐴 Tuesday Care Day at Andrew's Heavenly Horse Rescue 🐴

This Tuesday, several of our rescue horses are scheduled for much-needed farrier work and MagnaWave treatments. These services are essential to keeping our horses comfortable, healthy, and moving their best.

Many of the horses that come to us have been neglected, have chronic hoof issues, arthritis, soreness, or other conditions that require ongoing care. Every trim, every treatment, and every appointment helps improve their quality of life.
We're asking our amazing supporters to help us cover these costs. No donation is too small—every dollar goes directly toward the care of the horses who depend on us.

It is Farrier time again and we are adding magnawave treatments for our rescues. We are hoping to get it done on everyone to promote good health before they can get adopted. Below each rescue will be the cost for this visit. Please sponsor a rescue if you can or donate any amount as it all helps our animals thrive. Our deadline is June 7th to raise all the funds. IT'S SUMMER TIME and we are getting ready to open for the season to the public. Starting May 26th we are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 to 2 each day or by appointment. Everyone is welcome to come out and see what we do for all of our rescue animals.

Getting ready for summer we want to give our rescues some special treats this memorial day. If you would like us to feed a specific treat for a certain rescue please donate towards that treat. $10 for a watermelon, $5 for Apples, $3 for carrots, $5 pop tarts, $10 for sugar free treats. Please help us get some yummy treats for this weekend.

We also have horse manure and goat p**p for sale. All funds go to feeding our rescues. A bag of goat p**p is $15 and a load of manure is $10. Please set up a time to these as it might take equipment to load you up. Its great for gardens or landscaping so come and get your poo.

Our big SURPRISE is a new arena that will eventually be open to the public to reserve as well. It is 80x120. We will also have a round pen and obstacle course to take your equines through. All fees go to help get hay for our rescues. We will have more information coming later on this project.

🚨 COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED FOR OUR NEW RESCUE ARENA 🚨

Andrew’s Heavenly Horse Rescue is building a new arena so we can provide more space for training, rehabilitation, exercise, groundwork, volunteer activities, and safe handling for our rescue horses and donkeys. 🐴🫏❤️

We have been incredibly blessed to have the sand DONATED for the project — but we still need help getting it hauled to the rescue.

We need approximately:
➡️ 180 yards of sand

As a rescue, our funds go directly toward hay, feed, fencing, veterinary care, and the daily needs of the animals. Having this arena will make a huge difference in the care, training, and rehabilitation we can provide.

We are looking for:
• A trucking company
• Tandem dump truck owners
• Contractors
• Equipment operators
• Anyone willing to donate hauling services or sponsor part of the hauling costs

Even helping with ONE load would move this project forward in a big way.

It is that time again for our Hay fundraising. Our first & second loads are looking like it will be around 12,000🥕. We need to secure the funds as soon as possible so we can get the hay we need before it is sold out. Our volunteer orientation was a huge success yesterday. It was also Tootsie's 1st Birthday so we all celebrated with her for a photo. If you are still interested in volunteering let us know and we will get you into our second summer orientation. Thank you to everyone who came out. We are going to have a great summer with all the rescues.

Hooray!!! Summer is here and we are getting ready to open to the public. We need volunteers for cleaning, feeding, brushing, training, walking, and so much more. If you are in need of horse and donkey time or want to get some time in the great out doors then come on out. We have great views and kissable noses all around. Having a rough day or need community service hours for any reason come on out. We will be holding our Summer Orientation on May 16th from 10am to 2pm with food afterwards. We will tell you about what we do and proper safety around horses as well as beginner handling so you can help out here at the rescue. We accept all ages but 15 and under must have a parent or guardian come with them. We are located at 142 County Road 11 in Leadville. Please reserve your spot by messaging us here or text us at 970-389-9297. We have many projects going on this summer and would love to have all animal lovers who would like to volunteer.

We are also looking for builders to volunteer some time to build an arena for the rescue and the public to use and a couple lean-tos for the animals in our new fields. Please reach out if you would like to help or get a tax write off.

Pictured is Maui resting up for all the new and exciting things planned for summer. Come out to meet our largest horse at 16.3 hands high. We will be opening to the public May 26th from 10 to 2 on Tuesdays through Saturdays until September 5th. Hope to see everyone sometime soon.

Update: we have raised 25🥕 towards or vet visit tomorrow. Please think of donating tax money if you can. Remember all donations are tax deductible and go to a great cause. Any amount helps us get our rescues the care they need to live healthy lives. If you have a favorite rescue you want to sponsor, 300🥕 per month sponsors them for everything or a one time amount of 600🥕 covers their general vet needs.

We are still looking for sponsors for our vet visits this year. $600 for the year takes care of all their basic needs. Think about helping one of our rescues stay healthy all year long. Our first vet visit for the pre-summer time is Friday.

Even if you can't sponsor a rescue, any donation is greatly appreciated. Just mark it "Vet" and it will be applied to one of our rescues in need. TIA
