Our Mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals and their people through advocacy, community outreach, education, and adoption services. Our mission is to educate the community through community outreach & youth programs, continue to support low cost spay & neuter options, and to provide safe and proper care for the animals in our facility while they await adoption. Public Hours:
Sundays

- Tuesdays 10:00 - 11:30 am and 1:30 - 4:00 pm
Wednesdays CLOSED
Fridays 10:00 - 11:30 am and 1:30 - 4:00 pm
Saturdays 1:00 - 4:00pm
Closed on Major Holidays

LOST DOG!!

Covi has been missing for 2-3 days. He was last seen in his yard in Leadville near the mining museum on E. 9th St. He’s probably scared and hungry, but usually tries to run and ‘play chase’ if approached. Treats are a good go to! This beautiful boy snuck out of his home 2 nights ago, and usually comes back but he hasn't yet and his owners would love to have him home! His name is Pistachio and he's friendly and missing 1 ear cover. This dog took off from the 200 block of E.6th St and his owner would love to have him home! He is new to town, so he may not find his way home on his own! If you have seen this boy out and about, please call his owner at 218-929-0148 or the animal shelter at 719-486-8951!
