Since adding a new doctor earlier this year, it has allowed us to see more patients throughout the day.

We have openings for sick, routine, and surgical appointments! We’ve also added drop off appointments if you need to leave your pet here for a little bit to be examined and cannot stay for the visit.

We are accepting new clients as well!

Peekaboo😍 Look who is warming up!👀 Sweet Tortilla and Marina.🐾Tortilla is the gray baby and she loves head scratches! Marina is still a bit scared, but she loves laying on the window sill, watching all the cars and pets come in (Tortilla is a great spectator as well!)☺️

Look at who we have in our cat room now!😍 Marina and Tortilla!🐱 Both girls are spayed, up to date on vaccines, and they are almost a year old! Marina is the white/tabby, she is very outgoing, playful and sweet! Tortilla is gray, she is very chill but does like to play! She would be better in a quiet house - with no dogs or children. As you see Tortilla is a bit scared right now, so is Marina, but we only got them on Thursday, so they will warm up very fast!💓 Come see these sweet, pretty girls.🥰

The sweetest duo - Abigail & Addie are still here! 🥹 These girls are the most playful, silly and fun gals! Come meet them today, they are available for ADOPTION!!😍🐾

😊They were treated for an eye infection and they are clear! They may have some chronic tearing on their eyes, but it is not a concern, only cosmetic. They are very sweet and lovable and have been waiting a few months here for their forever home. (Adoption fees will be reduced if adopted together!)🐱

Also - up to date on ALL vaccines and they are both spayed! They are a little bit over a year old.🤩

Last month, we added Dr Kendall to our team. She has been an amazing addition and this has allowed us to have more availability throughout the day to see your pet, especially for same day sick appointments or when something unexpectedly happens with your pet.

We also have the capability to do drop off appointments on certain days if you do not have the time in your schedule to stay for the appointment.

Meet our newest friends in the cat room, Abigail and Addie!🐱 They are the sweetest girls, and are about a year old. They love to play and get their bellies rubbed! Abigail is more white, and Addie is more black - with the black patch on her chin.😍

A client alerted us that their German Shepherd is missing in the Slickville area. Male, black/tan, not neutered, orange collar. We have the owner’s phone number if there is a sighting or if someone knows his whereabouts!

We were just informed that Vitus Vet will no longer be in operation starting in the near future. This is the company we use to send out appointment reminders and vaccine reminders.

Some clients may also have the Vitus Vet app to view their pet’s records. This app will no longer be available to you to view your records.

We are working hard to find a replacement company. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have it all sorted out as soon as possible. If you need copies of your pet’s records, please call the office and we can email them or print them.

Also, please call the office if you are unsure of your upcoming appointments so we can confirm time/date!

We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team at Latrobe Animal Clinic! Please join us in welcoming Dr. Kendall Pochet [DVM] who will be joining us as a general practitioner veterinarian with a special interest in soft tissue surgery!

If you’ve been coming to our clinic for some time now, you may recognize Dr. Kendall! She started with us as a member of our support staff/technician team and followed her dreams of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. We couldn’t be more proud or excited to have her back!

Dr. Kendall grew up in Latrobe, PA. She graduated from the University of Findlay with a BS in Animal Science. Dr. Kendall then decided to follow in our current veterinarian’s footsteps and attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts. Her clinical year was completed at the University of Florida.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Kendall loves to spend time with her family, friends, 2 dogs - Ryder and Lily, and cat - Hazel.
