Snyder-Woods Pet Services Welcome to Snyder-Wood Pet Services! We are a family-owned business ran by Jordin (age 7) and Mom. We provide many services and look to add more as we go!

Can't wait to have you as a client! Jordin is an almost 8-year-old boy with unmedicated ADHD who loves hard with his whole heart, which is where his love of caring for animals has come from. He is funny, creative, outgoing, friendly, giving, and nothing short of amazing! When asked to describe himself, he says, "I am nice." He is the younger brother to an amazing 14-year-old sister who he shares a

n amazing bond with. With his sister he likes to play Roblox, play games, cuddle, watch movies, and talk with her. He shares his pet-sitting business with his 44-year-old, solo-parent mama who loves watching him care for all of his clients. With his mom, Jordin loves to talk, cuddle, watch tv, build logos, and wrestle. Jordin likes to "just chill" with his dad. With his friends, he loves to be himself and "just hang out" because they understand him. Jordin loves playing video games, read, playing with his friends. His favorite shows/movies are Scooby Doo, everything on Netflix (lol), Puss and Boots, No Time to Spy, Inside Out 2, Captain Underpants Movie. His favorite music group is Imagine Dragons. He hopes to meet them one day! Jordin now reads chapter books and loves comic books, com stories, adventure stories, friendly stories, and fairy tales. In the summer he loves jumping on the trampoline, fireworks, sleep overs, the beach, hanging with friends, and his clients. If Jordin could live on these foods - mac and cheese, KFC, corn on the cob, cantaloupe, lemon aide, shrimp, and popsicles - he would be happy!

Jordin LOVES ❤ Legos! It is something he does in his spare time with mom. Jordin loves building Legos with Sissy when she has time.

With Jordin's ADHD he often starts Lego sets and does not finish them lol 😂

We have a jeep we are in the middle of; an orchid we are in the middle of; motor vehicle sets; Mario world half built set; Star wars started; and some random sets.

Mom loves the Lego flowers much better than real flowers! I have the sunflowers and orchids and hope to add to my collection over time.

Building Legos helps with J's ADHD by helping him focus. We never spend more than 30-45 minutes at a time. Most of the time he bounces on his rubber ball or paces while he works.

Jordin's favorite animal is cats. He loves how independent they are and the fact that they do not "jump" on him.

When Jordin was an infant, his parents decided to get a puppy. A husky of all things. That was due to my love of huskies and always wanting one. (I still do).

We got Chloe when she was only a few months old. She was a spirited pup. Got into everything. Chewed everything. She even had us calling the fire department when she wedged herself behind the radiator.

We had to make the rough decision after training sessions gone wrong, that Chloe would be better suited elsewhere. Chloe had drug Jordin down the stairs not once, but 2 times. And not in a nice way. Between an infant and a puppy, it was not a good fit.

It was a very rough decision for me. But the best for Chloe.

Over the years Jordin has displayed a fear of larger dogs. I often wonder if this was from those incidents. He loves attempting to pet dogs and he will talk to them. He feeds and waters them and will try to interact with toys. But he is still afraid of large dogs. He is working hard on it little by little. He has the heart for it.

For now he handles the smaller dogs, cats, other pets, and food/water/treats. Mom handles the larger dogs until he is ready.

Meet Maple!

We have been with Maple, providing her services for over 18 months. She is a VERY energetic puppers. We have done drops ins, play time, and walks with Maple.

Jordin is working on getting over his fear of bigger dogs by getting on Maple's level and allowing her to kiss him and sit with him.

Giana will most likely not be featured in most of our pictures, but she LOVES spending time with Maple.
