We’ve been pretty busy with our days here at Kipling so this is your friendly reminder. If your furry friend has something coming up as far as vaccines, blood re-check or exams, it’s best to call and set up your appointment sooner rather than later. 🙏🏽

Lets talk dental hygiene 🦷😬🪥
This is how it all starts, when puppies are young, we recommend you using your fingers and massaging their gums so they can get used to us being in their mouths without restraint.
Once they reach the point of having their adult teeth we advise brushing teeth DAILY. With a dog toothbrush /paste.
That’s is the best way to keep tartar from forming on their teeth. 🦷

Let’s keep on brushing daily, it’s a habit we all need to get used to it, but it’s great in the long run 🐾🐾🐾

HAPPY SUMMER! Buddy has a beautiful lion cut. His little pal thinks he’s pretty great. Summer brings more parasites to all our pets. Is getting a blood panel really that important for your pet?

Yes! If your pet is younger than 5 years old bloodwork is only done if they’re feeling sick or need one prior to a surgical procedure
From age 5-10 we usually recommend a blood draw once a year since our pets age a lot quicker.
From ages 10 and up we want to be doing more frequent blood draws, at least twice a year. Especially if they are on special medications.

There are different Blood panels that all include different tests, mini panels that only have a few checks and full panels that include alot more!
