Hey guys! We wanted to thank you all so much for showing up on our last request for things on our amazon wishlist! You guys were fantastic and got us things we really needed for the office and clerical side of our job
(That Laminator has drastically improved my life you have no idea), and we're super thankful for that!
We were wondering if we could push our luck and your patience just a little bit more. Since our office needs are taken care of, everything left that we need is for our dogs directly.
Some of our dogs are on a specialty food for their dietary and health needs. (If I had a nickel for every time I had a dog that had sensitive skin and stomach issues, I would have three nickels- which isn't a lot, but it certainly isn't enough to cover the cost of their special food.) We are also really in need of collars and leashes! All of our dogs go home with their very own leash and collar, and after so many adoptions, we're running a bit low. Everything on the amazon wishlist can be sorted into what is most in need, so you should be able to take a look at everything we're in dire need for vs. what would simply be nice to have.
For example, we would really love to be able to continue to train our dogs before they go to their forever homes, but there is only so much we can do without the proper equipment. Training a dog to walk nicely on a leash and be ok with muzzles isn't a necessary step in getting them adopted, but it will make the lives of their new family that much easier. (Also I know our dog trainer is plum tired of me asking him to keep different sized martingales in his truck for when he stops by on his lunch breaks.)
All of this to say, if you can, please consider buying us something off of our wishlist (https://a.co/cnasION)! If you would rather donate monetarily, you can donate online (https://tinyurl.com/muyexz65) or by mailing a check to The Lagrange Troup County Humane Society at P.O Box 1351, Lagrange, GA 30241. If you would like to come and donate in person, we are always needing UNOPENED and UNEXPIRED bags of dog and cat food for our pet food pantry! If you have linens or cleaning supplies you would like to donate, please take them to Branches of Hope instead of us! They are run by the Troup County Homeless Coalition and work incredibly hard for those in our community facing homelessness.
