Happy Halloween from all of us at Brookside! Wishing our horse club families a fun and safe evening full of costumes, candy, and Halloween memories. We’d love to see your costumes, share a picture in the comments!

Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour tonight! Enjoy that extra hour of sleep, we’ll be explaining to the horses why breakfast is “late.”

West Ada families! The kids are out of school Thursday and Friday, so we’re putting out feelers for a fall/Halloween-themed horse camp at Brookside this week!

Would anyone be interested in a one-day camp on Thursday, October 8, or a two-day camp Thursday and Friday, October 8–9?

Comment below with which option would work for your family, and we’ll see if we can put something together!

We get asked all the time if you can bring treats for the horses, and what kind they like! 🐴

The answer is YES! And while every horse has their own opinion 😂, almost all of our horses agree on this ranking:

1️⃣ Carrots
2️⃣ Peppermints
3️⃣ Apples
4️⃣ Sweet potatoes
5️⃣ Watermelon
6️⃣ Licorice
7️⃣ Popsicles

So if your kiddo wants to bring a little something extra for their favorite horse, these are usually a pretty safe bet! 🥕❤️
