Many of you guys will recognize this beautiful face, but for those who don’t, this is Miss Amelia Palmer. Over Labor Day weekend, Amelia and her family were in a plane crash that took her life and left her parents in critical condition.

I met the Palmers 5 years ago when they joined my 4-H club, Boots & Bullseyes. Over the last few years, the Palmers have made an outstanding impact on our little community. Need help mucking stalls at Fair? Aeron’s there. Starting a meal train for a family in need? Cindy’s leading it. Truck broke down and you need help? Call Earl. Need someone to shine a little light in a time of darkness? Amelia was a master at that. This family has had our back in times of need, now its time for us to have theirs.

Between medical, travel, and funeral costs, the Palmers will need all the help they can get. Here are a couple of ways you can help. Please share this post so we can get as much traction as possible.

🌻 Sponsors:
We are looking for sponsors who would be willing to donate items, funds, or their time. If you have items we could use to create baskets for the silent auctions being held at one of our upcoming events, would like to contribute toward the cost of memorial belt buckles for our playday fundraiser, or would be interested in donating a rifle or other big ticket item for our raffle, please reach out to me directly!

🌻 Participation:
We are currently working on putting together multiple fundraiser events to help support the Palmers. Follow the Boots & Bullseyes 4-H Club page for more details!

This weekend (Sep. 13th & 14th), Legacy Cowboy Campground will be holding their annual Pony Express Race in Idaho City. This race is meant to replicate the historic courier system and will be a lot of fun to watch! They will be holding a beautiful memorial service for Amelia on Sunday and have invited us to join them. Please check their page for more details on a schedule of events and how to sign up to participate!

🌻 Leather Work:
If anyone has leather working skills and would be interested in creating some saddle crosses we could sell, so Amelia can continue riding with us, please reach out to me directly!

🌻 GoFundMe:
Please share the GoFundMe link everywhere you can to help raise awareness and get as much help for the Palmers as possible! (Link in Comments)

🐎 Monthly Bodywork + PEMF for a Performance Horse

💆‍♀️ BODYWORK: Reset, Realign, and Rebalance

What it does monthly:
• Releases stored tension from training, hauling, or environmental stress.
• Keeps muscles soft, pliable, and balanced—preventing compensation patterns.
• Helps maintain topline and hind-end engagement.
• Promotes better range of motion and stride length.
• Resets nervous system → improves focus, attitude, and rideability.

What to expect:
• Improved symmetry and posture
• More relaxed under saddle
• Better transitions, lateral work, and collection

💡 Think of it like a reset button each month—giving your horse the freedom to perform without resistance or pain building up.

⚡ PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy): Circulation + Cellular Support

What it does monthly:
• Increases blood flow and oxygenation to muscles
• Speeds recovery and repair at a cellular level
• Reduces inflammation and soreness from training
• Supports immune and lymphatic systems
• Helps with hoof growth, tendon health, and joint mobility

Best areas to target:
• Back and SI
• Hocks/stifles
• Neck and poll
• Postural muscles (scapula, withers, pectorals)

💡 PEMF is like an internal tune-up—keeping every system functioning optimally so your horse stays ahead of breakdown.

RAW MILK VS. PASTEURIZED EXPERIMENT:

STEP 1: Make Observations.

Raw milk is a living food with active ingredients.

Pasteurized milk is filled with dead bacteria, denatured proteins, destroyed enzymes, and more.

Raw milk can be utilized outside refrigeration, as has been done for centuries, to make many types of healthy dairy products.

However, when pasteurized milk is allowed to "grow" in a non-refrigerated environment, mold and other strange things appear.

STEP 2: Form a hypothesis.
When raw milk and pasteurized milk (organic or conventional) are left at room temperature, bacteria grows naturally.

Raw milk continues to be appear normal, be enjoyable, and be a safe product to consume.

Pasteurized milk becomes moldy and unsafe to consume.

STEP 3: Make a prediction.
Raw milk will become a sour cream or separated cheese-like product (safe to consume and enjoy).

Pasteurized milk becomes rancid and harmful to consume.

Raw milk will become an edible, enjoyable, product safe to consume.

STEP 4: Perform an experiment. (Picture Proof)
The 5 jars were all filled on the same day. I prefer not to reveal the brand name on the labels but two are conventional milk brands and two are organic milk brands. The whole milk is "Jersey cow" milk from cows that live on grass. Jars were all sterilized before the experiment. I tightened all the lids and then backed them off a half turn.

I have done this experiment before and I am absolutely stunned at how little remains of what is labeled "whole milk." Isn't this blatantly dishonest labeling? Additionally, I consistently see that the UHT (Ultra High Temp. Pasteurized milk) goes bad fastest.

STEP 5: Analyze the results of the experiment.
See mold growth/ pictures. The mold on lids show an estimate for the quantity of mold growth inside each jars.

Mold Growth Levels:
Raw Whole Milk: NO MOLD
Pasteurized Whole Milk: Medium mold levels
Pasteurized 2% Milk: HIGH mold levels
Pasteurized Organic Whole Milk: Medium mold levels
ULTRA High Temp Pasteurized 2 % Milk: EXTREMELY HIGH mold levels

STEP 6: Draw a conclusion.
Drink raw milk. It is a living, bio-diverse perfect food.

(Raw milk is controversial, heavily regulated by the government, but many swear by the health benefit. Highly recommend A2 dairy only)

All In Boarding Episode 4:

(Quite the delay on this episode…)

We have been slammed busy. How do you know summer is here? Everyday is nonstop packed with crazy! 🤪

But, today was absolutely mind blowing. Many know and it is posted…. EVERYWHERE! We have cameras🎥 We have cameras for the safety of the horses, escaping goats, and the boarders❤️.
Michaela is on her way home from work while Wyatt is broke down on the side of the road with 80 bails of grass hay loaded up. It was a race against the clock for Michaela to make it back to the barn in time for chores! 2 minutes before pulling on the property a box was delivered. Now, Grandma and Olivia are holding down the fort and in the big barn. (They missed the delivery). While Grandma walks out of the barn she is telling Michaela she found a chicken in a box📦. But it isn’t our chicken 😵‍💫

Sure enough, someone pulled on the property around by the drylots, jumped out, dropped a box with a LIVE chicken, and left!!

Many met or remember Steve the chicken. He was a majestic black silky chicken who was dropped on the property by someone who couldn’t have him as her house rooster, in city limits, anymore.
*Yes, he was her pet and she kindly informed us he was not potty trained.*
Steve lived with AIB for two years before passing away 😕

Now we have White Steve! The silkie abandoned in a box.

All jokes aside he was not in the box long as he was found minutes after being placed outside the truck. He also will not leave the Big Barn and has water and food. If you see a majestic White Steve, say hi 👋🏻

All In Boarding Episode 3:

Just a normal, boring, average day.

Wyatt started chores and then there was a goat stuck in the fence… Which led to him chasing pigmy goats around for a half hour or so 🤷🏼‍♀️ and Michaela was entertained while milking the non-stuck goat 🤣

Wyatt finished the pallet fence for the garden mid-day! Hope you enjoy it as much as Michaela does 🥰

Cookie update: he is doing better and escaped prison again. He really acts like it is torcher in the house getting fed and clean water. The king size bed must be miserable 😭

No goats lost in the house today!

We call that a win at AIB!

All In Boarding Episode 2:

Baby goat update: mama is taking to kid and kid is healthy! No lost goats in the house today, cats are another story…

Two years ago, Cookie (our misgendered cat), got his foot caught in a trap. Almost lost it and drug himself home. We rushed him to the vet, some meds were administered, and he was prescribed rest.

Present Day:

We hadn’t seen him in a few days, granted the weather has been nice… We find him last night and he had been caught in a trap again, same foot, same location. 🫩 Good news is, it is not as bad as two years ago.

As any owner would do, we bring him in and we doctor it. All for him to escape the house like a prisoner on the run!

Michaela goes out to do chores and while feeding the chickens, trips over something! THE CAT! She pulls her bruised ego together and corners the convict, I mean cat, and captures him!

…………Day goes by…………

1900:
Michaela to Wyatt: “Where is the cat?”
Wyatt: “I think inside.”

~searching commences~

Wyatt: “He was in the war room.. Probably all day, and asleep when I found him.”
Michaela: “At least I didn’t loose the animal today 😏”
