WOW would be an understatement for this weekend of comtinuing education in this amazing field of Dog Grooming!

I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to attend the continuing education seminar on Saturday and Sunday as well as being able to be apart of a Monday session K9 Wash N’ Go and Mountain West Grooming Series - Continued Learning & Certification.

This was the first groomers continuing education seminar held in Boise! A big thank you to Heather Ray Andi Roach Mishae Frisbee and Megan Garey for
their incredible work and dedication and making this happen!! Blake Hernandez was AMAZING (as we all
Imagined he would be) but I was even more impressed with him in person! His teaching technique and methods were above reproach!

Thank you to all my clients who let me use their pups as demo dogs! We couldnt do this without you guys! And lastly thank you to the best sidekick Rachel Eagy for getting up early, helping prep dogs, keeping me caffeinated and overall just being an amazing person!

We recently had the opportunity to meet this little guy and donate a groom! He is now looking his best! He Is available to adopt! Please see the beloww information if you are interested in adopting this cutie!

Fuzzy came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Texas and we are so glad he did! Fuzzy is a real sweetheart! He is quite the couch potato.
This boy follows his foster mom into the kitchen while she cooks and sits by the table while they are eating. He is very polite and sits quietly waiting for a treat.
Fuzzy is not 100% housetrained, he’s working on it and will ask to go outside but if you miss it he will potty in the house. His foster is working with him and he is currently wearing a belly band when someone isn’t with him.
He enjoys being outside exploring.
He is really good about sleeping all night in a crate. Has great house manners, has been great at the groomers and will make an amazing companion tor most anyone.
Fuzzy has only been with us five days, and he became comfortable within half a day/

Today was an incredibly hard day for us at Dillion’s Place.

Back in September of 2022, we had the privilege of meeting and being able to groom an incredible dog named Tuff (and his little brother Professor - we don’t want to leave him out of course). Since then we have seen these two boys every two weeks for over two years. We became extremely close to these guys and of course their human family members.

Tuff liked to steal sandwiches that were left on the desk (to eat for later of course), he loved to lay on the dog bed (but was always good at sharing with some of the other pups in the shop), he always let us do different hairstyles on him and he loved his bandanas that we always had special for him (at least we think he did 🤣). Basically Tuff was the easiest going and happy go lucky pup you would ever meet.

Today, we had to say goodbye to that sweet soul. Our weeks going forward will feel so different without seeing him coming through the door with his messy mop of a head. Our hearts are broken and we know that his family is missing a huge member of their family tonight.
