Good afternoon, as always, we would like to thank each and every one of you for allowing us to be a part of you and your pups lives and for supporting our small business. We wouldn't be where we are today without all of you!! The reason for this email is to inform you of some upcoming changes. As we near our three-year mark of being open, we have been looking into the grooming market in comparison to our current pricing. We have discovered that our current pricing is well below the current market with-in the Treasure Valley. I have also looked at some of our expenses such as our supplies (and there are a lot more than you could imagine such as several different types of shampoos and conditioners, cotton balls, ear cleaner, replacing equipment/items that become worn or broken, detangler, paper towels, laundry soap, floor cleaner, disinfectant, etc.), electricity, water, insurance, taxes, bookkeeping and system fees, credit card processing fees, licenses and of course compensation for my incredible staff and many other expenses that come up. With all of that being said, we believe it is important for us to continue to provide premium products, services, equipment and ensure that our staff is trained to the highest possible standards.
Effective 1 September 2025, you will see an increase in grooming prices to:
Doodles (coat quality and length will ultimately determine price):
Giant Doodle: 25+ inches at the shoulder - starting @ $150.00
Standard Doodle: 19-24 inches at the shoulder - starting @ $125.00
Mini Doodle: 11-18 inches at the shoulder - starting @ $110.00
Toy Doodle: 10 inches or less at the shoulder - starting @ $95.00
Poodles (coat quality and length will ultimately determine price):
Standard Poodle: 20+ inches at the shoulder - starting @ $110.00
Mini Poodle: 11-19 inches at the shoulder - starting @ $95.00
Toy Poodle: 10 inches or less at the shoulder - starting @ $75.00
Small Breed Grooms - starting @ $60.00. Breeds including but not limited to: Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Papillon, Affenpinscher, Pomeranian etc.
Medium Breed Grooms - starting @ $70.00. Breeds include but not limited to: Shih Tzu, Schnauzer, Cocker Spaniel, West Highland White Terrier, Bichon Frise, Coton de Tulear, Lhasa Apso, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Norfolk, Norwich, Scottish Terrier, Havanese, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Welsh Terrier etc.
Large Breed Grooms - Starting @ $85.00 Breeds including but not limited to: Giant and Standard Schnauzer, Bearded Collie, Bouvier etc.
De-Sheds: Specific products and techniques are used to ensure a thorough de-shed is done - this is just not a bath!
Small Short Hair De-Shed - starting @ $50.00. Breeds including but not limited to: Pug, Boston Terrier, Chihuahua, Jack Russel Terrier etc.
Small Long Hair De-Shed - starting @ $70.00. Breeds including but not limited to: Miniature Australian Shepherd, Keeshond, Shetland Sheepdog, etc.
Med/Lg Short Hair De-Shed - starting @ $70.00. Breeds including but not limited to: Doberman Pinscher, Vizla, Weimaraner, Rottweiler, American Staffordshire Terrier, Boxer, Corgi etc.
Med/Lg Long Hair De-Shed - $85.00 to $100.00. Breeds including but not limited to: German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Standard Australian Shepherd, English Setter, Irish Setter, Border Collie, Small Huskies etc.
Giant De-Shed - starting @ $140.00. Breeds including but not limited to: Newfoundland/Landseer, Leonberger, Saint Bernard, Bernese Mountain Dog, Large Huskies, Great Pyrenees etc.
**Note: There will be no exceptions!! Some grooms may reflect a higher price based on breed specific groom and length of cut. The 20% additional charge to guard comb will still apply.
XS/SM Bath/Blow-dry/Brush/Sani/Nails - $40.00
Med Bath/Blow-dry/Brush/Sani/Nails - $50.00
Large Bath/Blow-dry/Brush/Sani/Nails - $60.00
XL Bath/Blow-dry/Brush/Sani/Nails - $75.00
No Show or less than 24hrs notice cancelation Fee – 50% of the groom (will be charged the day of missed appointment or charged at the next appointment prior to accepting the dog for grooming). No Show or less than 24hrs notice cancelation Fee Holiday – 75% of the groom (will be charged the day of missed appointment or charged at the next appointment prior to accepting the dog for grooming).
VIP Puppy Package (4 Appointment introductory program) - $150.00
Nail Trims will remain the same which includes grinding - $10.00.
I do want everyone to know that this was not an easy decision, and I tried to look at every angle in order to ensure fairness to my clients as well as my employees. I love each and every pup as if it was my own. It does pain me to say this but know that I will understand (I will be sad) if you choose to look for another groomer for your pup. But before that happens, please reach out to me to discuss. As a friendly reminder please be sure to pre-book your pups' appointments. We recommend at least 3 or 4 appointments as we are currently booked out through October and will be limiting the number of appointments per day. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
