incorporated in the State of Idaho. Located in Kuna, ID, the sanctuary provides a permanent loving home for all types of rescued backyard farm animals. We make sure that they live out their entire lives in peace at the sanctuary, where they are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. Our mission is to provide shelter, food, care and

protection for the animals in our custody. Also, through farm tours and via social media, we give the animals a voice to tell the public their stories. Dominifarm’s rescued animals function as ambassadors so visitors and/or viewers can watch their daily lives, get to know each animal, and gain an appreciation for their species. DOMINIFARM:

-Welcomes public, private, group, organization, school, and corporate visitors, by appointment only. Private tours are by donation, suggested at $25/hour for up to four people.
-Provides people with special needs the opportunity to interact with socialized animals as a form of therapy and rehabilitation. WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT US:

What strange weather this year! Like the rest of us, Herbert is fed up with the rain and mud. While our other horses wear blankets for protection, Herbert stubbornly declines to keep his on. Fortunately, it’s not a big deal, since he is healthy, and his thick coat is built for harsher weather. His oily, dense fur repels water naturally, keeping him warm and dry. He might be stubborn as a mule, but our gentle giant is also incredibly charming.

Vinny is eagerly waiting for his turn to explore beyond his pen. As he has been aggressive with our male volunteers during feeding times, we take extra precautions to protect them by keeping him confined, but once the shifts end, Vinny is free to roam the grounds and enjoy quality time with his pig friends. Every animal in our care has unique needs and personalities, and we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that allows them to thrive while keeping everyone safe. By prioritizing their individual needs, we are able to create a truly sanctuary experience. We love you Vinny! 🐖💓

Little Dude is thriving in his indoor paradise during the cold season. Sulcata tortoise don’t hibernate, but instead brumate, reducing their activity while temperatures are lower, and he’s making the most of it. He has his own cozy heated house, a pool to waddle, plenty of fresh greens and a little stuffed cow to keep him company. As he’s starting to get more adventurous and visit the home, he has to wear a fancy camouflage diaper. It’s like a tropical haven in Idaho. 🐢🌺🏖❄️
