☀️🐾 Hello, Summer! 🐾☀️
The first day of summer is here — and while we’re soaking up the sunshine, let’s not forget about our furry friends!
Here are 5 quick tips to help keep your pets safe during the heat:

Hydration is Key 💧
Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water, especially after play or walks.

Avoid Hot Pavement 🛣️
If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws! Walk pets early morning or late evening when the pavement is cool.

Never Leave Pets in Cars 🚗🔥
Even with the windows cracked, temperatures inside a car can rise dangerously fast.

Provide Shade & Cool Spaces 🌳
Whether outside or inside, make sure your pet has a cool place to rest.

Watch for Signs of Overheating ⚠️
Excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or vomiting? Call L&L Animal Urgent Care for urgent veterinary care!
