We have Fear Free Certified veterinarians and team members and our mission is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety & stress in pets so that they have the best possible experience. Juanita Hills Animal Hospital is here to take care of your pet’s needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Veterinary services are classified as essential by Washington State during the Stay at Home Order. Our building is currently closed to entry but we are offering curb-side services.

If you know Leo, you know this is basically a medical miracle. 😂 He doesn’t normally allow anyone to scoop him up, but Dr. Mensching earned the ultimate Chihuahua seal of approval.

Yoshi came back to see us today for his 2-week post-op recheck after his neuter and baby teeth extractions💚

Even when our furry friends seem to be feeling great at home, post-procedure rechecks are an important part of their recovery. These visits allow us to:
✨ Make sure the incision is healing properly
🦷 Check that extraction sites are healing as expected
❤️ Catch any concerns early, before they become bigger problems
🐶 Give your pet the all-clear to get back to their normal puppy adventures!

Yoshi is healing beautifully and did an excellent job at his recheck!

Remember: Recovery doesn’t end when you go home. Don’t skip those recheck appointments! They’re one of the best ways to ensure your pet has a safe, healthy recovery. 💕
