📍 From: Originally from California. I lived in Utah and Wyoming before calling Washington home.
🐾 Favorite Job Aspect: I love being able to help animals and educate owners on how to help them live their best lives together.
🐱 Pets: I have 3 cats; Maui, Heather and Acorn. I also have 3 stick bugs; Sticky, Twiggy and Kabob.

🐱 Favorite Job Aspect: I can help owners better understand their pet. And of course, the kittens and puppies!
🐈‍⬛ Pets: Macky - 6 year old cat. He was a tiny kitten found in the dumpster and saved by Renton Animal Control. I had to have him! He is a brat though 😂 sometimes I tell him he will use up all of his nine lives and we’ll go together in 30 years
💃🏻 Hobbies/Interests: Social dancing, mushrooming, hiking, clamming, camping, eating
🍟 Favorite Pet Name: Any food name. I think they are sooo cute
🌤️ Loves: Blue sky on a crisp winter day. Dunking my face in my cat’s belly fur (he hates it but I’d do it anyways). Watching thunderstorms from indoor. And lastly but not the least, a good bottle of red wine and cheese

Help Gumball find his furever family!

Gumball is a 10 month old 65 lb male Hound mix. Look at his sweet face!
Gumball came to us in early March after wandering alone outside and an owner wasn't found.
He is a little shy around people as he learns to trust again. He likes being around other dogs so would do well going to a new family with another dog to build his confidence. Treats and outdoor time are the way to his heart!

Puppy Playtime is back! 🐶

At our Newcastle/Renton location, we offer free puppy playtime time sessions (led by one of our experienced staff members) every Tuesday, from 6-7 p.m. This socialization hour allows for puppies to play & learn from each other.

✔️ All puppies must be established patients at Eastside Veterinary Associates and between 2-6 months old to attend.
✔️ All puppies must be up to date on vaccines for their age and have a current f***l test on file.

Managing all of our puppies takes the full focus of our Puppy Playtime Leaders. No arrivals after 6:30 p.m. will be permitted. Reservations are not needed 😊

Spring is here! And with that comes a warning about Leptospirosis, a disease caused by infection with Leptospira bacteria.

All dogs are at risk of leptospirosis, regardless of age, breed, lifestyle, geographic location, time of year, and other factors. The following situations can increase that risk:

➡Exposure to or drinking from slow-moving or stagnant water sources, like ponds, rivers, lakes, or streams
➡ Roaming on rural properties (because of exposure to potentially infected wildlife or farm animals or urine-contaminated water sources)
➡ Exposure to wild animals (especially rodents) or farm animals, even if in the backyard
➡ Contact with other dogs (such as in urban areas, dog parks, or boarding or training facilities)
