A beautiful morning of rodeo, horsemanship, biscuits, and living history at the 34th annual Ranch Hand Breakfast. Held this past weekend at our headquarters arena on Santa Gertrudis Division, thousands of visitors come from near and far to spectate the King Ranch cowboys doing what they do best, hearty breakfast in hand.

Special recognition was given for the family of the late & beloved Dr. John P. Toelkes, KRQH veterinarian from 1978-2008. The contributions of Dr. John will forever hold a treasured place in King Ranch history.

We appreciate the attendance of all visitors, the Toelkes family, and the hard work of our crew in bringing this event to life. See yall next year!

TOMORROW! 7AM - 11AM

Come enjoy an authentic, hearty cowboy breakfast, cooked and served outdoors on the historic King Ranch. Breakfast includes eggs, refried beans, biscuits n’ gravy, sausage, tortillas, coffee and orange juice.

Team roping, historical exhibits and old-time cow camp cooking demonstrations will be part of the morning’s activities, along with cowboy poetry, storytelling and musical entertainment. Come join us for a taste of the cowboy life.

Parking is limited on the Ranch & wait times can be long. Shuttles are provided and highly encouraged. Visit RanchHandWeekend.com for park and ride times and locations.

Friday, September 26th @ 10AM Demonstration Day

• Buyer registration opens at 9 AM (please have your name, address, and phone number ready).
Payments accepted by cash or check.
• No trailer? Horses can be boarded up to 3 days at no charge. Buyers are responsible for hauling arrangements.
• Food trucks and vendors will be on-site (some cash only, no ATM available).
• On-site veterinarians will be available for emergencies, approved pre-purchase exams, and radiograph consultations. Radiographs must be completed before sale morning.
• Can’t make it to the ranch? Absentee bidding is available through Superior Livestock at Bid.SuperiorLivestock.com
