Thanks to some last minute shuffling with our long term fosters, all 5 of these babies were rescued from our local animal control in the last 2 weeks. They are currently in quarantine status and pending completion of their vet work before they will be ready for adoption. Donate and help us continue helping the pets of our community. Meet Roxanne. She is a sweet 5yr old that should be about 30lbs but weighs a whopping 71lbs! We suspect she was not only being over fed but given table food as well. Unfortunately, her elderly owners were no longer able to care for themselves or her. They were moved to assisted living and City of Kingsville Health Department Animal Control & Care Center was called to help. They in turn asked for our assistance. We are working on putting her on a healthy diet and will be getting her in for a proper medical assessment. Please help us get her in the right path to recovery by donating for her care.
