Preview of our lil Count Penny posing for her picture. She has an in home meet and greet with a potential adopter today. Paws crossed all goes well and she will be in her new forever home. Screening potential adopters requires time and effort but it ensures the safety of our pets and avoids possible displacement.

Allison came to us several years ago from animal control with her kittens. We never learned what happened to her eye, but it has never seemed to bother her. Her and her kittens were all adopted rather quickly to different homes. Unfortunately, conditions changed in her home to where it was no longer safe for her. Her owners struggled to make things work for several months including consulting us but ended up making the difficult decision to surrender her back to us. True to our lifetime commitment to pets in our program, we accepted her back. Allison took a little while to decompress but has readjusted to shelter life.
