What a WEEK at MAH. 🐾💛

This week at MAH had a little bit of everything: veterinary medicine, baby shower snacks, happy adoptions, and enough kitten chaos to make the treatment area question its life choices.

We celebrated our Hannah’s baby shower — it’s a boy! 🩵

We had Adoptions!🐱

And thanks to this amazing community, we went from 3 bags of kitten food to fully stocked. Steph may or may not have cried when the supplies came in. Okay fine… she absolutely did. Full rescue-girl tears. ❤️

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Every bag of food, every kind word, every share, every adoption, and every bit of support helps us keep going. This community shows up for MAH, our patients, our rescue kitties, and our team in ways that truly mean more than we can put into words.

Busy week. Full hearts. Very tired staff.
We love you guys. 🐾❤️🐱

7 kitties went home.

The ones who waited.
The ones who raised babies.
The ones who deserved their happy ending.

Plot twist: we believe sweet orange Tina is deaf… which suddenly explains why Slinky is not just her sister.

She’s her ears.
Her comfort.
Her confidence.
Her “don’t worry, I got you.”

They’re safe, loved, and doing amazing with our Adoption/Rescue Coordinator.

Now we just need someone to look at these two and say:
“Come home. Both of you.”

MAH staff reports to duty at 7:00 AM.
Phones open at 8:00 AM.

So if your dog spent today treating the cookout like an all-you-can-eat emotional support buffet…

🌭 Hot dog? Inhaled.
🍔 Hamburger? Gone.
🧀 Cheese slice? Stolen with eye contact.
🗑️ Trash can? Violated.
👨‍🦳 Uncle Bob? “He only had a little.”

Because by Tuesday morning, someone’s Labrador named Bentley is going to be standing in the kitchen at 3 AM making the international sound of regret. 🐾

Slinky: black & white assistant manager with opinions.

Steph saw Memorial Day Weekend coming and said, “You know what this cookout needs? Emotional damage… and kittens.”

What we mean by emotional damage :-)
2 transports.
2 surrendered mommas with kittens.
Adoptions set up for Monday(Yup we are still closed)

Dr. Curry: “Maybe we’ll have a quiet long weekend.”

We are currently experiencing a severe outbreak of tiny faces.

Symptoms include:
excessive squeaking, illegal toe beans, dramatic mommas, suspicious wobbling, and staff members saying “okay but LOOK AT THIS ONE” approximately 47 times per hour.

🌭 The Grill Is Hot, The Pets Are Plotting, And MAH Is Closed Monday May 25th

Please remember:
Your dog does **not** need a hot dog.
Your cat does **not** need to supervise the grill like a tiny, judgmental health inspector.
And absolutely nobody needs corn cobs, chicken bones, fireworks, trash snacks, or a surprise holiday weekend ER visit.

So please, for the love of all things fluffy, dramatic, and currently shedding on your couch…

**Check your pet’s medications and food now.**
Not Friday at 3:30.
Not when we close at 4:00.
Not when Fluffy has one lonely pill rattling around in the bottle like a maraca of poor planning.
Not when your dog looks you dead in the soul and says, “Mother, I appear to be out of my very important cheese medication.”

You ever wake up out of a dead sleep and your brain goes:

“LYNN. WE FORGOT LYNN.” 😳

So here we are… pajama panic posting because this woman deserves her moment.

Lynn is one of our amazing CSR’s, a client-care rockstar, and one of the reasons the front desk survives the daily soundtrack of phones, questions, pets, and general MAH shenanigans.

She makes us laugh, keeps things moving, and takes such good care of our clients and their four-legged kids.

Happy Birthday Lynn!! We love you, appreciate you, and are so lucky you’re part of our MAH family. ❤️🐾🎂

🎃 Brynn heard one person say “go touch grass” and injured her iliopsoas muscle

Reminder this is the SAME dog that already had 2 knee surgeries before the age of ONE because apparently her bones are built from wet paper towels.

Thankfully her mom Steph — our rescue/adoption coordinator and certified therapeutic laser tech — fired up the hot laser today 🐾✨

Laser therapy helps reduce pain, inflammation, and speeds healing.
Brynn spent the entire session laying on her emotional support blanket looking like a 45-year-old divorced aunt at a casino spa weekend
