🎃👻BOO from the team at ERVH! 🐾🧡

As we enjoy the spooky season, let's make sure our four-legged family members stay safe, comfortable, and happy, too! Halloween can bring some unexpected frights and potential hazards for our furry friends.

Here are a few important reminders to keep in mind tonight: ⤵️

🍬🍫Candy is for humans! Chocolate, xylitol, raisins, and other Halloween goodies can be toxic to pets. Keep candy bowls, treat bags, and wrappers safely out of reach. Grab your pet a yummy safe treat for them to enjoy!

🏠Safety within the home: With doors opening frequently for trick or treaters, there's an increased risk of pets slipping outside. Make sure pets have proper identification and consider keeping them in a quiet, secure room away from any potential escape routes.

👕 Costumes should be comfortable. If your pet is dressing up, make sure their costume fits properly, doesn't restrict movement or breathing, and doesn't have small pieces they could chew or swallow. ⭐Remember, if they aren't enjoying it, it's okay to skip the costume!

🎃 Be mindful of decorations. Electrical cords, candles, glow sticks, fake cobwebs, and small decorative pieces can pose risks to curious noses and paws. Keep decorations safely out of reach.

👻 Watch out for the spooky sounds! Doorbells, unfamiliar visitors, masks, and loud noises can be overwhelming for some pets. Provide a quiet, cozy space where they can relax and feel safe.

🪪 Keep identification current. Microchip information and identification tags should be up to date in case your pet accidentally gets outside.

Most importantly, remember that Halloween fun isn't always fun for our pets. A little extra preparation, awareness, and consideration can go a long way in keeping everyone safe!

Wishing everyone a frightfully fun, treat filled, and safe Halloween! 🧡🐈‍⬛🐶

💚🐾 Happy Veterinary Staff Appreciation Week! 🐾💚

We want to shower our amazing team with a little extra love this week, and we need YOUR help! 🥰💌

Stop by and fill out a thank-you note for our staff! 💌 We have note-writing stations set up at the front desk and in every exam room, so it’s easy to spread a little extra love during your visit!

Don’t know someone’s name? No problem! You can address your note to “Bella’s Tech,” our reception team, a specific staff member, or even our entire team. No matter who it’s for, your kind words will find their way to the right hearts! 💚🐾

Whether it’s a quick “thank you,” a kind word, or a little note about someone who made a difference for you and your furry family, every message means so much. ❤️

Our team puts so much love into caring for your pets, and we’d love to show them just how appreciated they are! 🐾💌

Help us fill our box with love and happy notes this week! 💚
