Check out Treetops Kitty Cafe in Kennett Square! A quick walk to popular shops like Mrs. Robinson's Tea Shop, cafes like Philter Coffee, and eateries like The Market at Liberty Place, Treetops is located in the heart of the Borough of Kennett Square and is a free-roaming cat rescue, where visitors can come and get some kitty love and possibly even take a cat home! Open Tuesday - Saturday from 11:00 to 4:00pm, you can make a reservation (preferred) or walk in to visit with the cats! We also have a cat-themed retail boutique located within the Cafe - so even if you don't have time to snuggle with the residents, you can purchase an item or two from the Boutique! All proceeds from the visitation fee and boutique sales go right back into the direct care of the Treetops Kitties. Hope to see you soon!

Meet PJ—a 4-year-old, all-black sweetheart with one hilarious little white spot (we’ll let you discover where 😉). He’s got soft fur, a soft heart, and is a proud professional biscuit maker. PJ loves high-up nap spots, playful cat buddies, and good vibes only. 🐈‍⬛

He recently visited the vet for a possible urinary blockage, so he’s now on a special diet and needs a bit of monitoring—but he’s feeling great and ready to find his forever jam.

🐾 URGENT‼️ Sweet Piper Needs a home ASAP‼️ 🐾

This is Piper. 💔 She’s a 4-year-old girl who was adopted from Treetops Kitty Café four years ago… and just last week, she was returned. Not because of anything she did — her family is moving and their new place doesn’t allow pets.

Piper is not doing well with the transition. She went from a warm, loving home to the overwhelming noise and smells of a cat café. For the first couple of days, she laid face-down in a corner, heartbroken and confused. We’ve been gently working with her and she is making slow progress, but the truth is: Piper needs out. She needs a quiet, calm foster home where she can decompress and begin to trust again.

Piper is a big girl — nearly 20 lbs of love — with big, beautiful eyes and a calm, humble personality to match. She is an absolute sweetheart. 💕 She loves being pet and enjoys curling up with people she trusts. In just one week, she’s already bonded with her caretakers and seeks them out for comfort. She wants connection — she just needs the right person/family to help her feel safe again.

Right now, Piper is being kept in a condo for her own well-being. It’s not ideal, but it's the only way we can help her feel somewhat secure in this environment. Still, this is no place for a kitty like her to heal.

🐾 Cat of the Week: Bane 🐾

Bane is a 3-year-old bundle of energy who loves playtime - he’s even been spotted carrying his toys around like prized possessions. This playful guy is also a proud climbing pro and loves to explore.

When he's not in action mode, Bane turns into a total cuddlebug. He’s super affectionate, chatty (with the cutest squeaky meow), and has stunning markings to match his big personality.

Bane would do best with a cat-savvy family—he can be particular with other cats and thrives with people who understand his playful spirit.

Today is the last day to celebrate our 900th adoption by donating $8!

Whiskers has been with us for over 2 years. She is a very shy cat who prefers to snuggle up with Main than be around the other cats. When she first came to Treetops, she would not let anyone touch or come near her. Now, she will accept nose-boops from a few people and will come out and socialize (a little) when humans are around! If Whiskers had stayed in the overcrowded shelter environment, she may not have survived the experience. Without your support, Treetops would not have been here for her!
