PSA: Make sure when you hire a "professional" farm sitter that you check their references and that they can/will actually do the job. I'm not scheduled to take care of this barn, but the sitter who is has proved to be less than reliable... which is just dangerous in this weather. I'm helping out short notice to make sure the animals are safe.
