Dear valued In Your Dog House Pet Sitting clients,

I hope this finds you and your pet(s) well. It is with a conflicted heart that I need to change the scope of my business. By the end of this year, I will only be doing in-home dog boarding, on a more limited basis.

This has been an extremely difficult decision to make, it did not come easily. Over the past 8 years you have put your trust in me and my staff to care for your pets; I have never once taken that privilege lightly. I have treasured every minute of caring for and loving your animal family. I have celebrated with you as you welcomed new pets and I have shed many tears behind the scenes because my heart broke with you when you said “goodbye for now”.

Please do not worry, all visits that are currently scheduled will be honored!

I am including some resources to assist you in finding a new professional pet sitter. National Association of Pet Sitters, Pet Sitters Associates or the Kennett Square Community page is a good resource as well. Please make sure the pet professional you choose is insured and bonded (if they have employees that will be doing the visits).

If I have a key to your house I will be making arrangements with you to return them.

Moving forward I will be sending out a list of blackout dates at the beginning of the year; I will not be accepting any boarding clients for these dates. I am also greatly reducing the number of dogs staying at one time so availability will be limited and last-minute bookings will be even more difficult to obtain.

I struggle to find the appropriate words to thank you enough for sharing your beloved pets with me, it has been my absolute pleasure and I am going to miss my extended animal family terribly!

Dis good advice from Tatum! Also, be careful at home when you let your dogs out. Let them out early, take them out on leash or go outside & check if it is all clear before you let them out.
