The Stables at Fox Crossing

The Stables at Fox Crossing Established in 1985, Fox Crossing is situated on 40 acres of rolling fields in Southern Chester We are a full service equestrian center.

We board horses, train horses, teach riding lessons, hold clinics and competitions on site, and accept ship-in schoolers.

Marty on Savvy, Chris on Khaleesi, & Audra on Figment out for a lovely woods and field hack today!

The temperature was delightful and — wait for it — NO BUGS (!) 🙌

All 3 horses were so lovely. Grateful for good friends, great horses, and perfect summer days like this 💛

Fair Hill, August 8, we were 5 today. Haley/Polaris (51), Marty/Cruise (95), Pat/Corey (81). Sarah/Halo (35), Denise/Royal (90). Warm but lovely day, river was high and rolling fast (!), all 5 horses perfect in every way, as usual. :)

Chris on Figment & Marty on Khaleesi

Stunningly beautiful weather for a long ride along the river 🌊🐴 Then we opened them up and galloped home on Franzi’s Frolic!

Nothing beats good horses, great friends, and perfect trails.

A magical ride exploring some lesser-used trails in Little Egypt 🐴

Sundappled paths, gorgeous green canopy overhead, symphonic birdsong, perfect horses. Pure serenity 💚

Several groups of bicycles passed us — all ridden by delightfully polite gentlemen 🚴‍♂️👋 Trail manners at their finest.

As we returned, we entered an area with a breathtaking abundance of lavender bee balm... and thousands — yes, _thousands_ — of butterflies 🦋🦋🦋

Left the farm at 5:30am and we were on and gone by 6am.

First official XC lesson with Chris and they’re already flying — look at that partnership! Chris has a way of bringing out the best in horse + rider pairs.
