Hi! My name is Nova. I was born on June 25th, 2025. I am a hound and labrador mix. I am potty trained (with bells) and have been crate trained. I have been spayed, microchipped, and I am up to date on all of my vaccines. I weigh 45lbs right now, but I'm estimated to be 60-80lbs when I am fully grown. I am great with other dogs.. and cats too.
Nova is being rehomed due to her current owner working nights and having to be crated for a good portion of the day. She will come with her crate and her bells (for asking to go outside). Asking for a $50 rehoming fee. She is very sweet and energetic. Please call April 573-301-1204. Serious inquiries only.

We will be closed Thursday November 27, 2025 for Thanksgiving. We will reopen on Friday (11/28/25) from 7:00am -5:30pm. If you feel your pet has an emergency, you should call Horton Animal Hospital-Discovery at (573) 777-3609 for 24 hour triage and treatment. They will send us a full report of your pet's emergency visit.

We’d like to take a moment to shine some love on our amazing staff for Veterinary Technician Week this week! Please join us with some kind words of appreciation or a hug or some treats! ☀️💕

We’d like to recognize our entire team this week. Each one of them wears so many hats once they walk in the door to work each day. From answering the phones and checking in our patients for appointments, to prepping for surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, running lab tests, taking x-rays, cleaning up poop/pee, holding (and occasionally snuggling😉) your pets, treating hospitalized patients, making sure they are all safe and cared for, filling medications, being a shoulder to lean on while we have to say goodbye, caring for the boarding animals, and most importantly keeping the office running smoothly! We could not be the caring animal hospital that we are without each one of them!

Drs Roller, Groner and Guhlincozzi wouldn’t be able to provide the excellent care we do without each one of them. Thank you is not a big enough expression of our appreciation!! Please help us let them know how much they are appreciated!!

🐈🐈‍⬛A Kitten Story 🐈‍⬛🐈

Mercedes, our technician here at Woodland, found these kittens at the clinic a couple weeks ago while taking some boxes to the dumpster. These two kittens didn’t have their eyes open and still had parts of their umbilical cord attached. Mercedes has been syringe feeding these kittens every 3-4hours and they are thriving!
The calico kitten is a girl and the black striped kitten is a girl too! These kittens will be looking for homes around October 27th.
