We seriously need your help and support!!

We have twelve dogs in boarding - some have been in boarding for months. We have to find foster or forever homes for these pups before we can even think about trying to save more lives- turning our backs on dogs in need is the hardest thing for us to do, but we made a commitment to help these twelve dogs and it feels like we are failing- we have let them down…

We know times are uncertain, everyone is busy and fostering takes some time and effort but the dogs need us- we are losing too many lives to euthanasia because of overcrowding-we beg of you to please consider fostering one dog until they find their forever home. We have a good team that will help you and provide any support you might need.

Our funny, happy, energetic Chapman is still hoping for a home for the holidays. This girl finished training months ago, but we haven’t been able to find her a foster so she is still boarding at Ruckers. She has friends there, gets attention and is treated great- but its not a home that she wants so badly.

Chapman loves toys, is good with other dogs after proper intros and is happy to show you all her good girl skills that she has mastered.

It's $2 Tuesday, and today we're asking for donations for Big Spike to cover his boarding costs until we can get him into a foster home.

This boy was so happy to leave the shelter - the door opened, and he went straight to the car and jumped right in.

Spike was a shelter favorite because of his kind, gentle nature, but unfortunately, as an 80-pound, 6-year-old, giant-headed Bully breed, his chances of making it out of the crowded shelter at the hardest time of year for shelter dogs were slim.

One of our amazing volunteers spent a lot of time with this guy at the shelter and helped us find a boarding location with availability to keep him for us for the holidays. We were thankful to find a space because boarding is hard to find right now.

Rescuing dogs these days is more challenging than ever - finding quality people willing to foster is harder than finding a needle in a haystack. Raising money to keep dogs in paid boarding is extremely difficult, but seems to be the only way to save lives.

Will you please donate a few dollars today to help us cover Spike's influenza vaccine, food, and boarding for one month? That cost is approximately $800, and raising this amount today would be a huge help to BarkVille Dog Rescue and, of course, Spike.

A Very, Merry Adoption!!!

Our crazy little Roger, who has a habit of eating things he shouldn’t, has been adopted by his foster family!!!

This handsome boy gave everyone a scare three times this past year - three surgeries and, thankfully, three positive outcomes!!

His foster family has all toys, blankets, and anything else Roger might find delectable on lockdown to keep him safe from himself!!!!

His foster family also decided they could not stand the thought of this nutty guy moving anywhere else and made him part of the family this weekend!!

We are so happy for everyone! We know Roger will be so loved and kept safe from his antics for all of his days!!

Adoptions are Cool 😎 and so is Roger!!!!

We need your help after Christmas!!!

The three sweet brothers again…. Richie went to foster last week and is doing really great - gaining confidence and learning to have fun!!!

We have someone who can pick up Bishop or Buck on Friday from boarding, but we can’t leave one pup alone in boarding… these boys deserve better and need a loving foster or forever home. All they have is each other now - please foster one of the boys and help them spread their wings and become the best pup possible.

The boys are approximately 6 months old, very sweet, crate trained, love other dogs, and bond quickly to their people. They weigh between 35lb and 40lbs.

Redwood is happiest when he is carrying a toy in his mouth and hanging out with his friends.

Unfortunately Redwood has been stuck in boarding for too long because no one has offered to foster him.

Redwood is a sweet boy and likes other dogs after proper introductions. He is medium energy, a great walking partner and an all around great dog!!

Harlow and Nigel need new foster homes!!

These boys are losing their foster soon due to a move.

Harlow is active, has been professionally trained and needs a person who will give him the structure and exercise he needs to succeed.

Nigel is middle aged- shy and unsure with new people at first but loving once he knows you. He needs a quiet home willing to give him the time and space he needs to settle in.

Zion is hoping his Christmas Wish of finding a foster or forever family to spend the holidays with!!

Zion has finished obedience training and did great. He is 1-2 yr old playful, dog friendly avd loving boy. He would love to go on walks/hikes, play with other dogs and have a yard to do the zoomies in!!

Clay Boomer is an amazing athlete and cuddle buddy all rolled into one beautiful dog!!!

Bob’s knee luxation is causing him to be lame if he uses that knee/leg too much and this guy’s favorite thing in life is playing and having fun.
