Meet Tinkerbell also known as “Tinky” because she is so little and cute. If you are looking for an enthusiastic little lap dog, you may want to consider this girl who weighs around 7 #. She is currently in a foster home and doing well with another little dog and 2 cats. Her foster Mom cannot say enough good things about Tinky.

We are a volunteer run organization that was established in 2000 and have successfully found forever homes for thousands of unwanted cats and dogs.. We meet by appointment only. Our pets are up to date on vaccinations, monthly preventatives, spayed and neutered (unless otherwise disclosed due to illness or age). All available pet bios on our website.

Would you take a look at that puppy-like face? Meet Rosalee; “Rosie” to some of
us. This sweet, gentle girl has been through a lot in her short 2 years of life but
she is on the good foot now! Rosalee is still underweight and we’re carefully
working on getting more lbs added to her lean frame. Rosalee may be shy when
you first meet her, but shyness quickly turns to friendly and is slowly learning to
trust the world around her. Time and patience……Repeat…..

Some of you may know that Dr. Lewis graduated from UGA College of Veterinary Medicine exactly 50 years after his grandfather Dr. George Radford (class of 52 and class of 02). But did you know there is a chance his daughter Addison may be a part of the class of 2032, 80 years after her great grandfather and 30 after her father! Dr. Lewis and his daughter visited the Veterinary School on Tuesday and took some fun photos. If you look in this first photo you will also see Dr. Fred Davidson who graduated with Dr. Radford and became the Dean of the Veterinary School. He later became the President of the whole University.

Hello everyone,

Wayside is excited to announce that we have worked out an agreement with both Zoetis and Merck to begin offering instant rebates in our hospitals! What this means is instead of having to do tedious mail-in rebates we can apply them instantly to your purchase at our hospitals. We have worked hard over the last few years to lower our margins to be competitive with online pharmacies and I am proud to say with these instant rebates we are now LOWER than Chewy on almost all products. For example, for Simparica Trio in the 44-88 weight range our price will be $201.96 (with $15 instant rebate) compared to Chewy at $211.12. On top of this instant rebate, you can still qualify for the mail-in rebates for an additional $15, lowering the effective price to $186.96 if you choose to send in the rebate. This is huge, that is a $24 savings!

At Wayside Animal Hospital we have always focused on helping our local community, from our employees, our efforts working with local rescue groups, working with the schools, and our chamber work. has a great personality and an adorable underbite. Oswald enjoys being a
co-pilot and would probably be able to convince you to take him for a pup cup.
So far, we haven’t seen anyone he doesn’t like when he meets them. Good boy,

Maintaining regular dental care in horses is crucial for their wellbeing and performance. If you notice your horse is dropping food, loosing weight, having a hard time chewing, or having resistance with a bit, it is normally a sign to get a dental checkup! Today, Dr. Boone and the Large Animal team got to work with Quinn and use our electric dental float tool, to properly and efficiently get rid of his hooks and sharp points. By routinely getting a dental done, Quinn is able to live out his retirement days eating grass and grain with no pain! Remember, horse dental health = whole body health!
