$120 Health Screen Special w/ NO exam fee!!

What is it?
*Young dogs 1 to 6 years of age...

Test for: heartworm, ehrlichia, Lyme disease, and Anaplasma. The blood work lets us know the health of your dog's blood and organs and how well their cells are working.
Test for your pet's thyroid levels (low thyroid is becoming common in dogs) which can cause subtle symptoms that disguise themselves as another illness.

*Young cats 1 to 6
Test for: heartworm, FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) and FeLV (feline leukemia). We send off the blood for the same reasons as above although in cats hyperthyroidism is more common.

Why utilize our $120 Health Screen Special:
1) Its a good way to get a baseline for your pet incase they ever do get sick.
2.) For you to have a copy of your pet's blood work when they are healthy helps veterinarians when your pet is sick and has to check blood work.
3.)Early detection -we can start treating right away if we catch something, making your pet more comfortable sooner and not only extending their life but their quality of life.

On both dogs and cats 7 years and older:
An abdominal x-ray is also included. This gives us a picture of the organs, specifically the bladder (where we can catch stones early) and most importantly looking for unusual growths. Abdominal masses can be deadly and we usually don't find out about them until they are big enough for your doctor to feel during an exam. Early X-rays can help us find them sooner!
