Some dogs come with a mystery mix and a personality all their own.

National Mutt Day celebrates the mixed-breed dogs who make our homes brighter, funnier, and a lot more covered in fur.

Maybe your mutt is part Chihuahua and part Pug. They could be part Rottweiler and part Australian Shepherd. Your mutt could look like it's cobbled together from three different dogs, and you're just like "I don't even know."

Whatever their mix, they're perfect, and the bond you share deserves care that helps keep them healthy and close.

Got a mutt at home? Share a photo and tell us what makes them one of a kind in the comments.

Any of these sound familiar? An ear scratch that turns into a head shake. A paw lick that keeps coming back. The belly rash that seemed to pop up after the last few hot days.

Summer can bring more pollen, grass exposure, flea activity, and outdoor time, and pets can have reactions that are easy to miss at first.

Extra scratching, red skin, irritated ears, or paw chewing can point to allergies or another skin issue. A visit can help narrow down the cause and give your pet some relief.

Call or text us at +1 469-912-2112, or book online at the link below, if your pet seems itchy this summer. Our team can help you make a plan that fits your pet.

Cats have a way of turning a weekday appointment into a household strategy meeting.

The carrier appears. The cat disappears. And suddenly everyone has a role.

Weekend appointments at PetVet365 can make the timing a little easier, especially for cat families who need more room in the schedule. And our Fear Free® experience includes cat-only rooms, calming pheromones, treats, no exam tables, and a pace that gives your cat room to settle.

Summer heat sneaks up on pets fast.

Before a walk, place your hand on the pavement for a few seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for paws. Choose early morning or evening walks, keep fresh water nearby, and give pets shaded or indoor breaks.

Heavy panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or bright red gums can point to overheating. A pet with those signs needs veterinary care right away.

Pets are curious, and fire hazards can start in everyday places.

A wagging tail can easily knock over a candle. A wandering kitty can turn on a stove k**b. And sometimes a cord looks a little too much like a chew toy.

Pet Fire Safety Day is a good reminder to look at your home from your pet’s level.

Check for loose cords, secure stove k**bs, keep open flames out of reach, and make sure your fire emergency plan includes your pets.

A loose gate. A loud noise. A leash clip that did not catch quite right.

Pets can slip away fast, even from families who watch them closely.

National Lost Pet Prevention Month is a good reminder to check the small details that help pets get home safely: current ID tags, updated microchip information, secure collars, recent photos of your pet.

Our team is here to help you make sure your pet's information is current. Ask at your next visit. We’re here to help you keep them safe through every season.

Take a minute today to check your pet’s ID tag, then comment “done” once it’s updated.
