Happy 4-year anniversary to Jordyn! 🎉🐾

These past four years have flown by, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Jordyn as part of our team!! She excels in so many areas, but two of her absolute superpowers are surgery and cats.

If your furry family member has had surgery with us, chances are you or your pet have worked with Jordyn. As our Head Surgery Technician, she pours her heart into providing exceptional care for your fur babies. She always goes above and beyond—making sure you feel completely comfortable entrusting us with their care, and ensuring your pets get plenty of post-op cuddles as they wake up.

I’ve been at Boulevard since April 2026. I've been in veterinary medicine since 2015 and my favorite part about the job is building relationships with clients, assisting with dental cleanings and caring for patients. I enjoy thrifting, watching reality tv and spending time with my dog, Calvin.

Teaching New Techs IV Catheter Placement 🩺🐾

Before placing an IV catheter on a patient, we give new techs a chance to learn and practice the technique in a low-stress environment. We start with a practice model to teach proper catheter handling, vein positioning, aseptic technique, and the feel of advancing the catheter. Once they’re comfortable with the basic technique, they practice under supervision before moving on to real patients.

This hands-on approach helps build confidence, muscle memory, and proper technique while keeping patient safety our top priority. 💉🐶 Kristen got her first IV Catheter today and Bendel was an amazing helper!

💙Broken Nail? We’ve Got Your Kiddo!

Ouch! 🐾 This sweet boy Winston came in after breaking a nail. He needed some antibiotics and a bandage to help keep him comfortable and protected while he heals.

Of course, we couldn’t let him leave without making sure his bandage matched his bandana!

Broken nails can be painful and sometimes need a little extra care to prevent infection and help your pet heal properly. If your kiddo has a broken nail, don’t wait and give us a call! We’re here to help get those paws feeling better! 🐾
