I was incredibly lucky to be a part of transporting Sweet Sparrow and Lamb to their rescue last weekend. These two beauties came from a shelter in California, where they sat for a month, and with the help of dozens of volunteers, made their way to a rescue in Montana. Lamb is the smaller pup, and she was so terrified that she couldn't even walk. She only wanted to be near Sparrow, who may be related to her, but we don't know. All I can say that after two days, one sleepover and 19 drivers, these two now have a chance. Thanks to Many Paws for arranging all of the drivers and to Life Savers Animal Rescue for giving them a chance at a great life. *not all photos are mine, they come from some of the rescue heroes who made this happen!

Say hello to sweet Mama Sugar and her baby, Brownie. Sugar came from a California shelter, where she had been since January. While she was there, she got pregnant and had two puppies. Only Brownie survived. Arctic Rescue was able to save them and get them to safely. I was so happy to be a part of this transport. One couple drove from California to Las Vegas, where I met them, and another couple drove them to their foster home. Mama Sugar has a mass on her leg, and if you would like to donate to her care, please go to the Arctic Rescue page to donate.

Sunflower and Poppy hitched a ride with me, from in Kanab, to last week. They were the perfect little passengers, they didn't make a peep and just napped the whole time. They came from Arizona and they are ready to start their journey to loving homes.
Volunteering and transporting is my most favorite thing and I'm so glad that I got to be a part of this one.

Yesterday was one of those days when you realize how many good people are in the world. A small cat rescue gathered around 20 cats and kittens and I was honored to drive them to . Some were being sold in a gas station parking lot on Mother's Day, others had been living on the streets for months. I'm sorry that I didn't take more photos, it was a bit overwhelming! ❤️
