Update on Connor & Letty! ❤️‍🩹🐾

Both still have a lot of healing left to do, but we are happy to share that they were strong enough to be released from Cornell. ❤️

Connor has found himself a wonderful foster home to continue to heal in with a loving foster family who we are so thankful for - including dog and cat foster siblings!

Letty is currently at the shelter, however we would love to find her a foster home that is a good fit for her as well as the shelter is not the best environment for her to continue her healing. At this time, she would need to be in an adult only home and be the only pet - she can be nervous at first given all she has been through, but has quickly warmed up to her shelter family as you can see from her photos. This week's cat of the week is Moo!!

Moo came to us as a stray with her 5 kittens.

All of her kittens have been adopted, and Momma Moo is still waiting for her forever home. 🥰 Moo has a very confident and curious personality and LOVES having your attention. She enjoys riding on shoulders going on walks with our staff 🤣, she makes these cute chirp noises when she sees you or when you pet her and she likes her belly rubbed! She would make a perfect addition to any family Moo is a really friendly and sweet cat. 😊 Moo is cat friendly, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and spayed.

Kitten season is in full swing! We are so thankful we can provide care for them, but this would not be possible without our supporters. Their necessary vetting alone will be around $200 each.

We are now accepting applications for our Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program. This program is open to feral, free roaming community cats in Steuben County. We currently are able to offer appointments at Lawler Veterinary Essentials in Dansville, NY or Rio Vista Veterinary Hospital in Painted Post, NY.

This week's cat of the week is Ravine! 🤩🥰

ONLY for this week her adoption fee is $75.

Ravine was the only kitten born to Flume, and was born right here in the shelter! She has grown up here so far, from her first stretches to first steps, and is patiently waiting for her happily ever after to walk through the door!

Ravine is so sweet, playful, and full of personality! She absolutely loves wrestling around the kitten room with her best friend Gaia! Some more of her favorite activities consist of climbing up towers, sitting right on your shoulder, and chasing you wherever you go! She would truly be the perfect addition to any home and is such a curious but well behaved little kitten! Ravine is up to date with vaccines, microchipped, litter trained and cat friendly. 😀
