The weather has warmed up and there are a lot of fluffy dogs to catch up on. Message or call me before your dog is in desperate need please. It could take around a month to get you in.

I’m running this crazy business entirely on my own. The older I get, the less interested I am in working 7 days a week. I want to see my family and the sunshine from time to time.

Bandit took off Sunday (11/30) from his home in Nunda NY, last seen near Wildey Rd. He is wearing a collar with ID and is also microchipped. His family is devastated, and he has a little girl at home who is missing him terribly. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hey everyone! I just feel like I need to apologize for the longer response and wait times for appointments. This summer was slammed unlike anything I have every experienced in my 13 years of grooming. Despite my love for what I do- the burn out is real. Sometimes I come home and just need to crash.

I really appreciate so many of you sticking with me despite the chaos. When you love what you do it really doesn’t feel like work. Things will get back on track once the weather cools down. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

I’m home from Alaska but I still request your patience at this time. I have two weeks worth of work to catch up on and it hasn’t been easy. I rarely have time to pick up the phone or call people back at a reasonable hour. This means I may need 2-3 days to respond to calls. Texts are a little easier to respond to but they may not get responded to until 7-8pm.

Everyone who went on our vacation ended up sick besides me so I’ve been thrust into the role of nurse, dog groomer, receptionist, and dog/cat mom. It’s a balancing act for sure.

Work will get back on schedule but it could take a few weeks to get things back on the rails. The trip was definitely worth it and I’m so grateful for your patience with scheduling while I was gone.

Thank you all for your continued support and kindness. I’m looking forward to catching up with all of you.

You can’t keep this girl away from her dogs for long. Today I dog sledded across a glacier. I’ll be off the grid for a while. I will message all of you back when I get home on the 22nd-23rd.

Work has been canceled the last two days due to bad weather. I do drive with new tires but it is a very light car so I fishtail and slide easily. When I cancel due to weather I do make it a priority to get in the cancelled appointments in as soon as possible. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes this week. Steep driveways and backroads are my number one enemy. With the cold weather we have this week it might be hard for me to drive to certain locations due to the ice. I will get everyone in as soon as possible. I want to groom but I want to be safe.

Please be patient with me for the month of August. I am taking 4 days off work to go to a film festival in NJ this Friday. My best friend is also coming in from out of state the second week of August. I will be taking half that week off so I have time to visit. August is traditionally known as “busy af” season in the grooming industry. It’s hot, humid, and overall unpleasant. Everyone wants their fur babies cut short. Normally I do pretty good at catching up but I’m struggling this month. I’m burned out and I really just want some time for my family and friends.

I will get everyone in as soon as I can. Do not expect an appointment right away. Plan ahead. I will get caught up but I am not going to work myself into the ground to achieve that. Please remember that I’m one person running a very large operation with many different parts. I’m secretary, groomer, driver, cleaner, and accountant.

I am not taking new clients at this time. Not even for nails. Thank you all for your continued support. I couldn’t get this far without you.

I am currently booked out until the last week of June. I cannot squeeze anyone else in or make any more exceptions. I’m working 7 days a week and I’m often working 8-10 hours a day. I’m working around the clock to accommodate the best I can but I also need to look out for myself. I do offer prebooked appointments. If your dog is in bad shape when you get ahold of me, you are waiting too long. Please consider prescheduling with me after each appointment so your fur baby can be comfortable all throughout the year. Please remember that I am one person. I can’t make time that doesn’t exist- as much as I wish I could.

I am returning home from my vacation tonight. All calls will be returned when I get adjusted. Thank you all for the continued support. Please allow me a month to catch up on the work I missed while I was gone. Please keep this in mind while you schedule with me.

Starting next month I will be cutting back on grooms. I need to start taking two days off a week for my mental well being. I’m burning out. I am keeping all of my clients, but wait times will get longer. Please keep that in mind when scheduling. Thank you.

I’m so grateful for all of your support! I’m getting a dozen requests for grooms a day and it makes me feel so good that word of mouth has spread so far and wide.

The hard part is that I unfortunately don’t have anymore space for new clients. This can change week by week or month by month. Please follow me on Facebook for updates on new availability.

With this being a one person operation I can’t keep up with the productivity of a normal salon. Drive time, cleaning time, and grooming time adds up. I can only fit 4-5 dogs each day while a normal salon can fit around 8 dogs a day. I try to keep up with demand the best I can, but that’s not always feasible. I need to start taking more days off for mental/physical recovery. Burn out is real. 😮‍💨

Again, thank you all for spreading my name and my business. I take great pride in what I do and I’m glad that it’s so appreciated. I will announce when I can take new clientele! Stay updated!
