With Heat Advisories and Extreme Heat Warnings in effect this week, the risk of heat stroke in pets is dangerously high. Heat stroke is a life-threatening emergency, and unfortunately, we see far too many cases during extreme weather.
๐ถ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฝ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐บ๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ. When temperatures climb above 80ยฐF, outdoor time should be limited to quick bathroom breaks only.

๐ฆ If your dog enjoys swimming and has safe access to a pool or other pet-friendly body of water, it's a great way to help them cool off.
