Well, we have bad news and good news. First the bad. We lost our Pit, Crowley, to kidney failure. He was only 9 years old. Those years flew by, and he was starting to show his age, but we had no idea he would be taken so soon. He crashed very quickly, and we had no clue, until it was too late. He is missed daily.

The good news is:
We had rescued George, the one getting his ear licked, for a companion for Crowley. Crowley had lost his companion, and was very depressed. George was the ticket, as Crowley started to play like a pup again. George was here about a year before we lost Crowley. But, since his passing, we weren't sure what to do, as George has so much energy. Well, we still had Bailey here at the rescue, waiting for a forever home. Do I need to go on? Her and George just tear it up! I think that Bailey can sense she isnt going anywhere, and has made herself a fixture in our home. George picked Dennis as his person, and is as happy as a dog can be. Both are loved very much. So, good news after all.

This was the look on all the piggy faces this morning when I told them the snack bin was empty. 🫙

Mouse, Fern and Iris are working on an SOS (send snacks soon) sign in their cage as we speak. 🆘

Pumpkin Pie thinks it’s the end of the world and flipping her house over. 🏠

Mia keeps chewing on her cage bars, thinking of giving her a tin cup to bang on the bars, she thinks I’m the warden 🤷‍♀️

And Chunky Monkey is just staring and me heartbroken 💔

PS…don’t worry, they all got carrots this morning 🥕

Taking orders for February.

I will be making heart shaped sugar cookies, valentines M and M cookies and peanut butter heart cookies (pictured).

All proceeds will go towards our rescue.

Sad weekend here at Kelly’s Critter Crew.

Friday we lost Rosie. She was our blind rat who had developed a tumor. Rosie was quite reserved and relied on her sister Roxie. We will be looking for a home for Roxie so she won’t live alone.

Today we lost Porky. He was our first hedgehog that came to us. Our old man was super sweet and will be missed.

Both critters were found forever sleeping in their beds.

We love you Rosie and Porky 🐀🦔

As the crew ages, unfortunately there will be more losses 💔

We have some sick and special needs animals here. Double vet appointment today for two of the bunnies. Long road to recovery for them.

Christmas time is coming quickly. We are out of snacks and supplies. If you would like to sponsor a critter for Christmas, let us know.

The Crew consists of: rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, gerbils, hedgehogs, dogs, cats, tortoises and horses.

You can choose a specific critter or a general type of critter. I will save everything and open them on video.

Hi!
In case no one has met this beautiful boy. This is Reggie. He has splay leg on both left legs. His rear leg is worse than his front. I know his legs look wonky, but trust me, this little guy gets around!
He is around four months old. He is a full lion head. Reggie loves attention. He loves when my husband gives him scratches where his back foot cant reach.
These are the critters closest to our heart. The underdogs, who have no idea they arent normal.💕
