Cat Habitat Inc. - Homewood IL We are a non-profit 501(c)3 no kill cat rescue, partnered with Petco in Homewood. We have found homes for over 1,100 cats during our years at Petco!

Our mission is to prepare homeless cat for their adoptive homes, including medical care, spaying/neutering, nourishing food, socialization and lots of love! The donations we receive through adoptions are used for the care of additional felines. We promote the importance of not only being responsible pet owners, but to encourage others, including younger generations, to become involved in the care

and well-being of homeless animals! We are a non-profit, no kill 501(c)3 organization started in 2011. Cats are located at Petco in Homewood or with foster families. Cat Habitat now has a program called Zeffy to process monetary donations to help us care for disadvantaged felines with food and medical treatment!

The second option is via our Amazon registry! Items are shipped directly to Cat Habitat.

In Cat Habitat's 16 years of service, this last year has surpassed all years combined for strays, abandons, and relinquished cats. Any help you can give our felines will be greatly appreciated.

What a difference that 1 week of love and care can make! Joe has been through quite a bit, but he hasn’t let that stop him from enjoying playtime and attention from people. Joe is not ready to be adopted yet and still has some time until he’s ready, however anybody interested can apply for him on our PetFinder page and take him home once he’s ready.
