Homewood Veterinary Care is a brand-new, AAHA-accredited veterinary practice established to provide excellent wellness, medical care, and pet disease management for dogs and cats. We are honored to care for the community of Homewood, IL, and the surrounding regions.

Due to a power outage caused by the severe weather yesterday we will be closed today, 8/12.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

UPDATE 7/30:
As you may be aware, our area experienced a significant storm on Monday, July 27th, which unfortunately resulted in a power outage at our office. We are currently on day 4 without power and are actively working to restore our operations as quickly as possible.

We understand that this situation has caused inconvenience, especially for those with scheduled appointments. Please be assured that once our power is restored and we are fully operational, we will be reaching out to all clients whose appointments were affected to reschedule. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.

Your safety and well-being are our top priority. We hope that you and your loved ones remain safe and secure as we all navigate the aftermath of the storm. We look forward to serving you again soon.

We currently do not have power at our office due to the weather, and we are not receiving any phone calls.

Hi Everyone! Meet Otis! Otis was found as a stray back in May. His current foster would like to keep him but he already has a dog. He’s housebroken and about 9-12 months old. Meet MJ, the sweet dog who came to our clinic with a large mass. It was causing her a lot of discomfort and making it hard for her to move around. Dr. Ritter successfully removed the mass, and MJ is already feeling so much better! Check out the before and after photos, you can see the relief in her eyes. Check out this amazing glow-up! Our sweet Mabel came to us with a massive tumor(4.5lbs)on her back that was really bringing her down. Our team jumped into action, and we were able to safely remove it. Now, Mabel is feeling so much better, and it shows! Just look at that smile in her after photo! 😃 🐾
