Back when I first started grooming in a kennel, I got lots of practice on dogs that were never groomed. A shave down is pretty straightforward, but lots of care and patience goes into the process. Even if a dog had to be cut short, I did my best to keep them cute. I kept a little hair on top for personality.

This snazzy side bob would later be dubbed “The Karen” by one of my favorite clients and was a summer favorite
