Our barn is filled with amateur and youth exhibitors enjoying their horses along the trail and rail.

Took two of my own horses to a NWHA regional show this weekend. Hudson and Tanis. They not only placed well-they were enjoyable to be around. Hudson “I’m the Hawk” is so fun to ride and Tanis “She’s Anything but Mine” worked so hard! Very pleased. Also included a pic of David Knight on his favorite mare Amber “O’Malley’s Star”. They had a great show too!

I planned on finishing 12 shirts this summer. This is actually #3. I’ll post pics of the others another day. This one will help carry the flag at our big show in September!

We’re home from a great TWHBEA World Versatility Championship. Lyss and Lacie were consistently great ending with a win in the panty hose race-sounds funny but let me tell you-it’s the last class of the show and the most fun!
Dressage was amazing. We signed up for both the TWHBEA & WHOA judges. At times their opinions varied a lot. Other times they agreed. We came home with 12 ribbons. Most being in the top 3.
David and Amber surely held their own. David won the largest test under the WHOA dressage judge. WDAA intro 3 with 15 entries. I rode Amber to a first in Traditional intro C with the TWHBEA judge to the highest score of the show and Training 2 with both judges. We had fun together in advanced trail-accomplishing the hardest obstacles but hitting nearly every ground pole lol. We also had a great ride in Precision Pattern and the TWH 2 gt class.
I really recommend this show to anyone that can take the week off next year. It’s full on camaraderie, sight seeing, good competition and wonderful dinners provided each night. I had a wonderful time with my barn family-thank you guys. -also had my first blowout on the truck. Thankful for a local man that stopped and helped us get back on the road quickly-it would’ve taken me a lot longer!!

Cane has sold within our barn to the Thigpen family! We are so happy to keep him here and watch him and his new family grow. ❤️
