Our precious Scout had his eye surgery yesterday. He spent the night at the clinic and has now made his way back to his loving foster home. He is not as sad as he looks. DONATIONS NEEDED FOR EYE REMOVAL

Scout started off as one of the lucky ones. Born to a feral mom at a local dentist’s office, he and his siblings were trapped young and brought into our rescue. Early socialization gave them a much brighter future than their mom, who will need to be TNR’d.

This sweet boy was thriving — off the streets, loved by humans, and ready to become someone’s forever companion. But then, an aggressive eye infection struck. It progressed to an ulcer so severe that the only option left is to remove his eye.

The surgery is estimated at $500–$750. As a nonprofit, unexpected medical bills like this hit hard. Adoption fees never cover the full cost of care, and rescues like ours are always stretching to cover the next emergency.

Kiwi is one of our newest kittens at Petco, Surf City, and she’s there with her sweet brother, Macaroni. She’s already a pro at making biscuits and loves attention. These two are incredibly affectionate, and any family would be lucky to have them.

HELP‼️URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED TO SAVE LIVES 🆘

We’ve just learned that a shelter we work closely with in NC has failed an inspection. While not officially confirmed yet, this often leads to full shutdowns—meaning every animal must be removed immediately. Those that don’t get out in time are at risk of euthanasia.

This shelter already struggles with limited rescue support. We try to help as much as we can, but right now we cannot do it alone.

We desperately need fosters—right now—to save lives.

Fostering cats or kittens can be simple. If you have:
• A laundry room, spare bathroom, or even just a dog crate
• A willingness to help
We’ll provide all supplies: food, litter, crates, etc. We cover all medical—you just help get them to their vet appointments.

Pudding is one of the sweetest, most loving girls you’ll ever meet—and she’s a total attention hog in the best way. You may remember her from an earlier post. She came to us pregnant and gave birth to seven kittens. Sadly, only two survived.

As heartbreaking as it is, high mortality rates in large litters are not uncommon, especially in young or stressed mothers. Despite the loss, Pudding has remained in good spirits and has been a devoted mom to her surviving babies.

Now that her days of motherhood are behind her, Pudding will soon be ready for a forever home where she can finally soak up the love and care she deserves—no more litters, just a lifetime of affection ahead.

Our rescue takes in many moms and babies, and getting them healthy, safe, and ready for adoption can be both emotionally and financially demanding. Every spay, bottle, formula can, and vet visit adds up.
