We have zucchini in the farm stand!

Garden overflowing with zucchini? These recipes are for you!

Zucchini Bread:
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ginger
3 teaspoons Cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
3 eggs
1 cup applesauce
3 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups zucchini finely grated

Zucchini Fritters:
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg , lightly beaten
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 pounds zucchini , grated and dried (see notes)
3 tablespoons scallions , thinly sliced (optional)
2 tablespoons olive oil

Zucchini Brownies:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar , packed
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups zucchini

Are the laying hens docile? I would say yes. Is Ollie docile? The chickens will certainly tell you no 😅😅
I have production red hens available, 10-18 months old, $30 each. I will be at the farm in Shapleigh every day 4-7 for pick ups this week!

I made a big batch of candles for the farm stand tonight, they will be available in 2 weeks after they finish curing! Lemongrass, Creamsicle, and Lemongrass & Lavender. Hopefully I will have time on Friday to do some more scents, I know people want Bee Balm so that will be next! Compost will be restocked this weekend (sorry I didn’t expect to sell out so fast or I would have filled more bags before the rain!) Also, enjoy this picture of a duckling enjoying a free ride from momma duck 🦆. The ducklings are all doing great, and momma duck was even kind enough to foster 6 chicks for me!
