A chance to win some pork for a good cause!

FILL YOUR FREEZER FOR A CAUSE IS BACK!
This time Thibodeau's Achen' Bacon Farm INC and I are raising funds to benefit Dream Factory of Maine, York Chapter ❤️ This amazing organization fulfills the dreams of critically and chronically ill children, right in Maine 🥰
This time around, there will be 500 spots available and four prizes! Each winner will receive approximately 50lbs of spiced pork sausage (your choice of flavor) and a couple pounds of smoked bacon. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards pig & butcher costs, the remainder goes to the charity. I do not keep any of the proceeds! If you would like to donate, but do not want the meat, I will donate the meat to a local food pantry in your name if you win.
The drawing will occur once all tickets are sold. Last time, that only took a couple weeks. I will post frequent updates on this page. The drawing will take place on a livestream right here, date and time to be determined.

🎃 PUMPKINS are officially in the farm stand!!! 🎃
Oh… and remember those simmer pot kits I promised? 😂 I FINALLY made them, and they’re in the farm stand too!!! 🙌🏼🍂

The faces of two wanna-be farmers who are officially over garden season….and yet… here we are….still out here harvesting things.
Yes, we are incredibly thankful for the garden and everything it has given us this year… BUT… I am tired.
It’s hard to believe that in a few months I’ll be looking out the window at a snow-covered garden complaining that I want to be in the garden again. 😂

Just like that it’s September!! How did that happen?!

Spiced Chai candles have hit the farm stand and they smell like fall! More fall scents coming soon! 🙂

Fall Simmer Pot Kits WILL BE BACK hopefully early next week,,,, (I really need more time in the day 🤣) but I promise to get them made up ASAP!

Today I picked the first 24 pumpkins (and we have lots more that will hopefully be ready soon). I started harvesting our winter squashes, caught up with the zucchini plants, picked some tomatoes (I still have lots to pick 😵‍💫), and picked the eggplants that were ready.

PUMPKINS WILL BE IN THE STAND STARTING THURSDAY 🎃. The variety we chose this year is called Connecticut Field Pumpkins, they can be used for decoration, carving, or cooking/baking!

Lastly, if you follow us on TikTok you might have seen that our giant pumpkin plant has a baby pumpkin growing!!! Although I fear it’s too late for it to have any potential as a giant, but I’m still excited to see how big it will get!
