If you’re new here: The Happy Retriever is excited to introduce to you our dog photo of the month contest! 🐶 Every month we will be selecting one picture from each our of our trainers as candidates for this contest.

We are asking 🌟YOU🌟 to vote on your favorites! The trainer whose photo receives the most votes will win a prize and your dog will be featured on our page as the dog of the month!🤩

Happy Friday from THR’s pawfect pack of pooches!🐾 Today’s doggos started off the day by working on their holding commands while inside and outside the center!🐕 Once the afternoon storms rolled in, these pups burnt off some energy while they romped around the indoor agility equipment!🌧️

We're so excited to announce our next class for Canine Good Citizen (CGC) is starting soon, led by our wonderful trainer, Jocelyn! 🎉

This 6-week course is designed to provide you and your dog with all the essential skills and knowledge needed to prepare for and achieve the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen certification. It's a fantastic way to strengthen your bond with your dog, enhance their manners, and ensure they are well-behaved members of our community. The Canine Good Citizen program focuses on responsible dog ownership and basic good manners for dogs.

Throughout the 6 weeks, Jocelyn will guide you through exercises that include:

-Accepting a friendly stranger
-Sitting politely for petting
-Walking through a crowd
-AND SO MUCH MORE!

A CGC title is a great achievement that can also open doors for therapy dog work, dog sports, and more! It's a true sign of a well-mannered companion. 🐕❤️
