This beginner-friendly class will cover caring for orphaned kittens ages 1 day to 8 weeks, including feeding, warming, and daily care. Learn how you can become a bottle-feeding foster and help save tiny lives!

🐾 Meet Goomer 🐾

This 6-year-old sweetheart may only have one eye, but he sees the world with nothing but love. Since arriving at the shelter, Goomer has shown us over and over again just how calm, gentle, and easygoing he truly is.

He’s not the type to demand attention or bounce off the walls — Goomer is happiest simply relaxing nearby and enjoying a peaceful environment. Because of his age and limited vision, we think he’d likely do best in a home without overly energetic dog companions. We don’t yet know how he feels about cats or children, but his laid back personality has been impossible not to notice.

Goomer has clearly been through some things in life, yet he remains incredibly sweet and trusting. Now all he needs is a soft place to land and someone willing to love him exactly as he is. 🖤

🚨 WE NEED HELP TODAY 🚨

We are down to ONE kennel tech today with 58 dogs in our care.

Our team is doing everything they can, but we desperately need volunteers to help walk dogs and give our shelter staff a hand. Even just an hour of your time can make a huge difference for both our dogs and the people caring for them. ❤️

🐾 Help dogs get potty breaks
🐾 Burn off energy and reduce kennel stress
🐾 Give our lone kennel tech a little breathing room

If you’ve been thinking about volunteering, today is the day we truly need you. Please come by the shelter if you’re available and able to help walk dogs.

⏰ Anytime today between 10am - 5pm, the sooner the better.

Due to staffing issues, you must be 18 to volunteer today.

During our normal volunteer days, 16-17 year olds require signed parental consent and under 16 must have a parent present.

🐾 Meet Cuddles 🐾

This beautiful 4-year-old girl has been with us for quite some time now, and while we’ve loved watching her blossom, what she really needs is a home of her own. 🏠🫶🏼

When Cuddles first came to us as a stray, she was underweight and in rough shape. Now, after good meals, gentle care, and lots of love, she’s absolutely thriving. Her shiny dark coat, soulful caramel eyes, and healthy glow are proof of just how far she’s come. ✨

Cuddles is calm, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her people. She loves the simple things in life — soft beds, sunny walks, and quiet moments by your side. She’s the kind of dog that forms a deep bond and just wants someone to love.

‼️Cuddles would do best as the only dog in the home so she can soak up all the attention for herself.

She’s waited long enough. Let’s find this sweet girl the forever home she deserves.🏠🐾

These shelter staples help us provide clean kennels, full bellies, and comfortable spaces for the animals in our care. 🖤
