Thank you!

Thank you to the Jr Beta Club at Carolina Elementary School for hosting their annual donation drive in support of our Darlings! They collected 120 items! 🫶🏽 We know the Dragons care about our shelter pets, and we are so grateful to everyone that contributed. 🐾🐉

Meet Haven, mom to many of our kittens. She was found at Nucor with 7 of her own and is now helping to raise this rascal, Mercury. We've had 157 cats (mostly kittens) come into the shelter since May 1st. 55 of them are in foster care (we desperately need more human fosters) but still nearly 100 more are at the shelter either waiting to find their forever homes, or in need of a foster. Can you help be a good foster parent like Haven here? Perhaps you are interested in adoption? Either way, you can apply at DarlingtonHumane.org Darlington County Humane Society

Calling all medical professionals!
It's that time of year again, when kitten season has hit our shelter!
Our cat cleaners wear PPE to keep everyone safe and help not spread the funk however, if you have ever worn those plastic gowns, you know how hot and sweaty you can get in them. If you happen to have any gently used scrub jackets laying around you aren't using, we could use them! All sizes needed! Just drop them on by during normal business hours. 🥼 They can be put to good use, over and over again and thank you! 🐈
