Check out our handsome boy making his debut on the radio! Hunter has been on 2 field trips with us and he has loved every minute of it! Now when we walk by, he wonders if it’s his turn to get out again. Can you help us help Hunter?! You can sign up during the week to go on walks and field trips with wonderful DCHS furbabies!

Our team is gearing up and our pups are getting excited! Our little shelter is busting at the seams and can’t wait to see YOU. Seeing y’all show up to spend time with us is the highlight of what we do!

Through our field trips, we have shared so many smiles with you over the last 6 years and have formed cherished friendships. 🫶
🦮The Darlington County Humane Society is back with another Paws Around the P*e Dee and inviting you out again for another wonderful field trip day! Whether you're an avid participant or joining in for the first time, come out to have a fun Valentine morning with your friends, family, and DCHS PALentine! ❣️Create golden memories in downtown Hartsville holding hands (and leash), singing in the car, taking photos, and enjoying dessert! Whether you spend 45 minutes or more than an hour, we guarantee your pal will feel the love! 🐾😘

While none of our doggies are cheap dates, DCHS will provide everything you need so there’s no cost to you for sharing the love with them!

🥰This boy has been a favorite for many months…yes months! We love him and we’re so pleased that he had people to take him on a field trip. His journey has been long at the shelter but he has just gotten better with time⏰. His manners have developed well, his leash skills have perfected, and his love has remained unwavered 💙 Please help us stop the clock on how many more days he lives at the shelter. Hunk is so deserving of a chance in a home and believe us, he’ll love you endlessly 💫

🐾This past Saturday, we had a WONDERFUL day at the Darlington County Humane Society. Our hearts were filled with joy, hope, and most of all, ✨appreciation✨! We have LOVED getting your photos and videos of your field trip; we look at them over and over just to see all of the smiles and good times 😍. This Paws Around the P*e Dee was a true example of the team effort between our staff, our volunteers, and community of supporters. Together we successfully provided 2️⃣7️⃣ dogs with fun filled time away from the shelter with people to love on them and let them just be themselves out in town. 😊Thank you to every participant! As you see our field trips cross your feed, 💫SHARE the impact that this day had for these pups! Ask us about any one of these pets available for adoption.
