Remember Fluffy, the 13-year-old senior who came to us completely shut down after her owner passed away? (see Sept 19 post) We have the most wonderful news to share ... FLUFFY IS ADOPTED! 🎉

When her family's vet was asked to put her down, they knew in their hearts she still had so much love left to give. They reached out to us and our volunteers stepped up to embrace her instantly. Thanks to physical therapy in her foster home (sponsored by physical therapist, Kim), Fluffy has gotten so much stronger.

Thank you to her foster, Lina and family, for taking such good care of her and giving her the sweetest send-off party! She has officially moved into her forever home with an extraordinary adopter who opens his heart to hospice and senior dogs.

It truly takes a village — from compassionate vets and selfless volunteers to dedicated fosters and incredible adopters. It's amazing what love can do! Have the best life, sweet Fluffy! ❤️🐾

Today's rescue ... look at this poor baby! 💔

We named her Miracle and she went straight to the vet. She's young ... only 3-5 years old but she didn't get this way overnight. This was from years of neglect. She probably lived in a crate all her life - look at her feet. Could you imagine how uncomfortable she must be? And yet she is so, so sweet.

Please help us help her. We need donations to help cover Miracle's veterinary care. The vet said she will likely need surgery on her one ear.

Don't worry sweet girl, you are in excellent hands now. We will make you all better and make sure you are never treated like this again. You will only be loved and cherished for the rest of your life!

Meet Cici, an absolute stunner, and the ideal combination of playful and snuggle bug. She’s quick to play with anything she can get her paws on - pipe cleaners, bottle cups, even the errant fly, and she’s much cuter than a flycatcher. When playtime is over she’s quick to curl up next to anyone seated, person or animal, and start purring. She is a delight to have around the house.

Cici is an extremely social kitten and would do best with human or animal company during the day.
