Meet Winks, a playful black kitten who's always ready for an adventure. He's fearless and fun and loves to meet new people. When Winks sees someone coming, he purrs so loudly he can be heard from across the room. Winks is fun and keeps his people laughing and also gets along well with other cats.

❤️ this update! Some of our rescues just need a little time, love and patience to realize they’re finally home. Thank you to this wonderful adopter for giving Teddy his second chance.🐾

"One year ago today, I brought Teddy home, so I wanted to send a quick update. I knew it was going to take a lot of work to help him feel at home and loved, but I also knew he deserved the chance. Step by step, we worked together and he started trusting me, other people and eventually relaxing into being himself. Now, Teddy is a completely different dog. Instead of barking at strangers, he greets people and dogs with tail wags. Neighbors stop us to say what a cutie he is and he charms just about everyone he meets. It took patience, consistency, and love—but it was worth every bit of effort on both our parts. Teddy is my perfect companion. Thank you Pet Rescue for making it possible for Teddy and me to find each other."

Wynonna was pregnant when she was rescued in Mt. Vernon. She gave birth to 7 healthy kittens and was a wonderful mom. When the time was right, Wynonna moved to the Kitty Cottage and her fur babies moved to loving foster homes. Wynonna has a sweet, playful personality. She's a quiet girl and loves to snuggle in big soft cat beds when playtime is over. Wynonna gets along well with other cats and enjoys attention and pets.

Meet Miguel, a loyal heart looking for a home. This handsome 1-year-old & 50-lb boy is searching for a second chance at the love he deserves. His family had to move and unfortunately could not bring him along. He is such a handsome boy, with his striking speckled black and white chest and paws, soulful brown eyes, and floppy ears. Miguel is a sweet pup who walks nicely on leash and is housebroken too. Could you be the one to show him that not all goodbyes are forever, and that his best days are still ahead? ❤🐾

Simon’s ears couldn’t decide whether to be floppy or perky, so they compromised… which only adds to his adorableness! 🥰 This 5-year-old chihuahua / min pin loves hanging out with dog friends, especially if they're his size and on the mellow side. He’s housebroken, walks well on leash, and is always up for a car ride. Simon may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, you’ll have a loyal companion for life. ❤🐾
