๐Ÿ“ข Microchip Update for Pet Owners ๐Ÿ“ข

Many of you have received emails about a recent microchip company shutdown. We want to reassure you that Miller Clark Animal Hospital uses HomeAgain Microchips, which are NOT affected by this closure.

If your pet was microchipped elsewhere (through a rescue, breeder, or adoption group), they may have a different brand. You can check your records or contact usโ€”weโ€™d be happy to scan your petโ€™s chip to help you verify the brand. While we canโ€™t update these chips for you, once you have the microchip number, you can make updates as needed.

Rest assured, this shutdown affects very few microchips in our area. If you have any concerns, donโ€™t hesitate to reach out! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ’™

Our Story

The story of our hospital dates back to the late 1800's. Dr. H.K. Miller owned The New York Canine Infirmary which was located in Manhattan. The Miller family's country property was located on our current hospital site in Mamaroneck, NY which was used as a boarding kennel to serve the clients of his practice. A small clinic was then established in 1903 to care for the boarding animals. Throughout our growth into a full service hospital, we have stayed committed in continuing the same high quality of care into the future. Miller Clark Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. Board certified surgeons, internists, and cardiologists are available for in-house consultation. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, surgery suite, x-ray capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area. At Miller Clark Animal Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.
