Hi, I'm Michael, founder of Thumping Tails. 👋
I started Thumping Tails because I believe pets deserve more than just a quick visit—they deserve genuine care, attention, and companionship from people who truly love animals.

What began as a passion for animals has grown into a trusted pet care company serving families throughout Westchester County and Fairfield County. Today, our team has the privilege of caring for hundreds of pets while giving their families peace of mind when they're away.

Outside of Thumping Tails, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and pursuing creative projects. But no matter what I'm doing, animals have always been a huge part of my life.

Tick season is here, and it’s something many dog parents in New York are paying closer attention to this summer 🐾

Ticks are more than just a nuisance. They can carry illnesses like Lyme disease and may cause irritation, fatigue, limping, or loss of appetite in some dogs. After walks, especially around grassy or wooded areas, it’s always a good idea to do a quick check around your pup’s:

paws
ears
belly
neck and collar area

A few minutes of prevention and awareness can go a long way in helping keep your dog comfortable and safe this season 💚
