Hello all, this week we had three puppies from our last transport go into emergency care for Parvo. They were thankfully discharged yesterday and on the mend. They still need a lot of care, and we ended up with quite a large vet bill in the process. If anybody still needs to make a year end donation it would be greatly appreciated. Any amount helps. Hey everybody, we are closed again this week. I know many of you like your pups with long hair, so I’m going to find some how to guides for you all. Properly maintaining your dog during this time is going to be very important. The longer you go without proper brushing the more likely it is that your dog can become matted. Most matting results in shave down haircuts, and in some extreme cases can be painful for your dog or cause health problems. Below is a quick video on how to line brush your dog. This is the best brushing method. Remember the most important parts of your dog to brush are the legs (inside and out), underbelly, face, head, and ears. These are the areas with the most friction from movement. The back and sides are actually the easiest to reach and brush, so do those areas last. Stay safe and be well! Hope to be back soon 🐶✂️

Due to the new N.Y.S mandate we have been deemed a non-Essential business, and will be closed for the foreseeable future. I’d like to thank all of you for being kind and understanding during this stressful time. Please check the store voicemail and social media on any updates on when I am allowed to reopen. And please reach out via message if you need any tips on keeping your dogs properly maintained in the interim. And remember... keep your fur babies brushed and combed or I will shave it off! 🐶✂️💜

Now that more people than ever are staying home, it is the perfect opportunity to foster a dog or cat. Dogs and cats are still coming into shelters and rescues around westchester, and need temporary homes while adoption rates are low.
