ADOPTION FAIRS: Every second and fourth Saturday from 1-3 pm at Sheets Pet Clinic in Greensboro, NC. For an application, please email [email protected]. ADOPTION FEE: $100 for one cat, 6 months or older; $150 for two adopted together to the same home, 6 months or older. $125 for each kitten, $200 for two kittens adopted at the same time. ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: FeLV and/or FIV test / FeLV vaccinations for kittens / spay or neuter / microchipping and registration / up-to-date vaccinations / flea treatment / deworming / lots of loving. Adoption fee is refundable for two weeks to make sure you've found a match for your household. Even after the two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason. Adopt a Sheets Pet Clinic cat or kitten and receive half-price vaccines and discounted wellness exams for the life of your pet! More details on adoption. This is our foster boy, Sketti…with his heart-shaped nose and his happy-go-lucky personality. Sketti is a superstar guy who has already been through 3 life-saving surgeries and now he needs another.

Back in March he had a urinary catheterization to clear a urinary blockage caused by crystals. But he blocked again shortly after (sooo many crystals in his urinary tract), so then he had a PU (Perineal urethrostomy) surgery which essentially turned his man parts into lady bits so the opening is wider and will allow any leftover or newly formed stones to pass more easily. He has remained on a strict arc urinary diet ever since. Unfortunately, the opening has closed up completely in the last few days, as can happen with PU after-care, and he needs a Board certified surgeon to repair the stricture.

Even though he has been through SO much in just 3 months, Sketti has remained his typical joyful, loving self. He deserves this one final effort to get his body working the way he so very badly wants it to work. He is such a resilient, happy, vibrant, young boy full of life who does deserve this chance. His surgery at Carolina Veterinary Specialists is estimated to be between $7,000-$8,000 and that is a price tag we are not sitting comfortably with but KNOW Sketti is worth it.

Yes, that Alvin… except this time he brought his brother Simon along for the adventure.

Meet Alvin and Simon, two tabby brothers whose level of cuteness should probably come with a warning label. These boys are cute enough to get away with just about any mischief and absolutely know how to use their powers for good and occasional chaos.

Alvin, the vocal brown tabby and clear ringleader of the duo, is always ready to announce snack time, playtime, cuddle time, or simply share his opinions with the world. Simon, his adorable silver tabby brother, matches him in silliness and charm, happily joining every adventure while keeping the purr motor running at full speed.

And speaking of purring, these boys don’t wait around for affection. They start purring the moment you think about petting them.

Together, Alvin and Simon are playful, affectionate, hilarious little troublemakers looking for a family ready for double the fun, double the cuddles, and a lifetime of hearing, “ALVINNNNN!” whenever the mischief starts.

When Lady Lotus first came to us as a tiny bottle baby, she seemed like any other bright, beautiful kitten beginning her journey. Then came the terrifying seizures that changed everything.

After diagnostics and difficult conversations, a possible liver shunt, a condition rarely seen in cats, became part of Lotus’s story. Thankfully, this was not unknown territory for us. Just two years ago, our beloved former foster Nikki faced the same diagnosis and, with treatment and surgery, got her second chance.

Because of Nikki, we knew exactly where to start for Lady Lotus.

Today, Lotus’s seizures are being managed with the same medication and specialized diet protocol that helped Nikki. She is carefully monitored each day by her devoted foster mom, who pours endless love and vigilance into keeping this vibrant blue gray girl safe and thriving.

Now, we wait.

In August, Lady Lotus will travel to NC State for a CT scan that will tell us whether she has an intrahepatic or extrahepatic shunt and whether surgery could change the course of her future.

For now, she continues doing what kittens do best: loving fiercely, playing hard, and reminding us every day why these tiny lives are worth fighting for.

We just wanted to share a sweet little Feel Good Friday update about our Lulu 🖤🤍

A few weeks ago, a caring family surprised us in the best way possible by saying they wanted to Hospice-foster our beautiful mustached lady 🥹

We had accepted the possibility Lulu would live out the rest of her days in the Sheets Pet Clinic breakroom. But how precious is it that she gets to enjoy the comfort of a HOME 🏡 and sweet humans who respect her quirky sass, understand her moods, provide plenty of boxes, and are happy to report how well she’s been doing over the last few weeks 🥲 ♥️

Thankful for compassionate people and hopeful more step forward to bring grace and love to kitties who especially need both 🙏 🐾 ✨

You know what-it’s fine if this hunky fella never leaves because we love him like our own. We just feel sorry for the human that’s missing the most perfect cat in the world. To snuggle in bed every night with Mr Purrfect and be interrupted by this handsome face must be the best feeling in the world…and someone out there is missing it. 🖤 👑 🤍
