2026 Pet Resolutions: Part 12!
Drool happens, but safety comes first!
Our favorite gentle giant already has his gastropexy (and is still working on keeping our floors dry).
If you have a deep-chested breed, make the commitment to your pet’s health this year — ask us about scheduling a gastropexy.

2026 Pet Resolutions: Part 11!
Our favorite "Gray Ghost" is trying to keep all four paws on the ground this year. It turns out not everyone wants a 70lb hug the second they walk through the door!

2026 Pet Resolutions: Part 10!
We’re working on "peaceful coexistence" this year. Our favorite spicy feline is vowing to keep the claws retracted... but the spicy meter is still reading 100%!

2026 Pet Resolutions: Part 9!
The award for Best Lead Actor in a Drama goes to... our favorite Shiba Inu! We’re working on "lowering the stakes" this year, but we have a feeling the drama is here to stay.

2026 Pet Resolutions: Part 7!

2026 Pet Resolutions: Part 6! This one might be the most "ambitious" goal. Our feline friends are trying to resist the urge to test gravity this year... but the water glass is looking very temptingly close to the edge.

2026 Pet Resolutions: Part 4!
Our favorite neighborhood watch captain is trying to retire their siren... but the mailman just walked by.

West Ridge Animal Hospital has been serving the animals of Northern Colorado since 1968. In 1978, West Ridge became the first American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited hospital in the area. Accreditation requires advanced medical facilities and practices, and voluntary inspection of our medical records and standards of patient care. West Ridge Animal Hospital remains the only full service American Animal Hospital Association-accredited hospital in Greeley and has recently achieved the highest level of accreditation available.
As a team, we come together to provide the most comprehensive, compassionate care available. We continue to grow to serve you and your pet’s every need.
We offer a wide variety of surgical and professional services for the well being of your pet. We strongly believe in preventative health care including routine health checks, diagnostic blood panels and vaccinations, to name a few. Consult your veterinarian about arthritic pain management, geriatric care, and behavioral problems. We encourage you to approach any of our professional staff with questions you may have regarding your animal companion.
We are proud to offer a number of digital radiographic services to complement standard diagnostic procedures. If your pet undergoes radiographic procedures, your veterinarian evaluates the x-rays. In addition, a board-certified veterinary radiologist reviews all digital radiographs taken at West Ridge Animal Hospital. Bring a CD-R along with you on your visit and we will gladly burn a disk of your companions x-rays.
Along with routine surgical care, we provide advanced orthopedic surgery as well as cutting edge veterinary dental services. We are capable of handling virtually every emergency and customary surgical procedure as well.
West Ridge Animal Hospital is pleased to provide alternative or complementary treatment options. These services encompass dietary supplements, acupuncture, animal chiropractic, physical therapy, underwater treadmill and massage therapy.
We offer both traditional boarding as well as our special medical boarding which includes a full doctor’s examination daily, all medications and many extras. For our traditional boarding, you may choose from a list of fun and convenient options to spoil your pet.
