Halloween is right around the corner!

While trick-or-treating is exciting for humans, it can pose serious hazards for pets.

Here are 4 essential Halloween safety tips to keep your pets safe this weekend:
🍫 1. Candy & Treat Hazards: Keep chocolate, raisins, sugar-free candies containing Xylitol, and glowsticks far out of reach. Xylitol and chocolate can be life-threatening if ingested!
🚪 2. Front Door Caution: Frequent doorbell rings and opening doors can tempt pets to bolt. Keep pets in a quiet, secure interior room with their favorite bed or toys.
🏷️ 3. Check Microchips & ID Tags: Make sure your pet's microchip contact information and collar tags are completely up to date.
👗 4. Costume Comfort: Ensure costumes don't restrict your pet's vision, breathing, or movement. Never leave a costumed pet unattended!

Happy National Cat Day to all our feline friends as well! Keep those kitties cozy indoors this weekend! 🐈🎃

If you experience a pet emergency over the holiday, please reach out immediately!
