💚 September is National Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.
At West Ridge Animal Hospital, we know that caring for others—whether people or pets—starts with caring for ourselves. Mental health matters. 🧡
We are proud to partner with Not One More Vet, Inc (NOMV), an organization dedicated to supporting the mental well-being of veterinary professionals. Together, we can break the stigma, raise awareness, and remind one another that no one has to face struggles alone.
If you or someone you know is in crisis, please call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Help is always available. 💙
🐾 Let’s continue to support each other, our colleagues, and our community—because every life matters.

September is Su***de Prevention Month
At NOMV, we believe su***de prevention starts with connection, compassion, and community. This month, we’re focusing on what it means to truly support one another, not just in moments of difficulty, but every day.
Throughout September, we’ll share resources, tips, and practical tools to help you talk with someone you’re concerned about, recognize early warning signs, and build a culture where asking for help is met with understanding, not judgment.
For students, technicians, veterinarians, support staff, or pet parents, you have a role in creating a safer, more supportive veterinary field.
Let’s make it safe to speak up.

Let our family care for yours
West Ridge Animal Hospital has been serving the animals of Northern Colorado since 1968. In 1978, West Ridge became the first American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited hospital in the area. Accreditation requires advanced medical facilities and practices, and voluntary inspection of our medical records and standards of patient care. West Ridge Animal Hospital remains the only full service American Animal Hospital Association-accredited hospital in Greeley and has recently achieved the highest level of accreditation available.
As a team, we come together to provide the most comprehensive, compassionate care available. We continue to grow to serve you and your pet’s every need.
We offer a wide variety of surgical and professional services for the well being of your pet. We strongly believe in preventative health care including routine health checks, diagnostic blood panels and vaccinations, to name a few. Consult your veterinarian about arthritic pain management, geriatric care, and behavioral problems. We encourage you to approach any of our professional staff with questions you may have regarding your animal companion.
We are proud to offer a number of digital radiographic services to complement standard diagnostic procedures. If your pet undergoes radiographic procedures, your veterinarian evaluates the x-rays. In addition, a board-certified veterinary radiologist reviews all digital radiographs taken at West Ridge Animal Hospital. Bring a CD-R along with you on your visit and we will gladly burn a disk of your companions x-rays.
Along with routine surgical care, we provide advanced orthopedic surgery as well as cutting edge veterinary dental services. We are capable of handling virtually every emergency and customary surgical procedure as well.
West Ridge Animal Hospital is pleased to provide alternative or complementary treatment options. These services encompass dietary supplements, acupuncture, animal chiropractic, physical therapy, underwater treadmill and massage therapy.
We offer both traditional boarding as well as our special medical boarding which includes a full doctor’s examination daily, all medications and many extras. For our traditional boarding, you may choose from a list of fun and convenient options to spoil your pet.
