Spread the word, this cutie is in need of a new home. The family is moving out of the country and cannot take her. "We hoping to find a great 2nd home for her because she really is a good pet! Sierra is a 6 year old, spayed female, 60 pound Labrador mix.
Sierra is very timid and submissive to people, especially large men. Once she is comfortable with you, she loves to be petted and played with. She never learned how to play fetch properly but instead, loves for you to chase her while she has the ball, lol! She is very good with all people, and loves kids. She is pretty good with cats as she tends to be scared of them. With dogs, she can be a little weird. Some dogs she gets along with great and others she seems to want to fight. She is house-trained very well; she has never had an accident in the house! She loves to go on walks and hikes and will pull you along if you don't use a gentle leader to slow her down a bit. She does require a daily estrogen tablet to help her not have urine incontinence. Overall, Sierra is a wonderful pet to have and we are so sad we can't take her with us. She deserves a great home because she has lots of love to give!"

BIRD FLU: Keep cats safe! Cats are very susceptible to H5N1, also known as bird or avian flu, but at this time the overall risk for exposure and infection is believed to be low. The virus has ravaged poultry farms, leading to the mass killing of over 150 million birds. Now, it's been detected in dairy cows, cats—even humans.

Signs of H5N1 infection in cats:
⛔ Respiratory problems like coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, trouble breathing
⛔ Lethargy
⛔ Neurological disorders, such as disorientation or trouble walking
⛔ Sudden onset of severe disease or death without prior signs of illness or injury

Carolyn Karrh, President of the Colorado State Board of Veterinary Medicine, urges a ‘NO’ vote on Proposition 129, warning:

“We are concerned for the welfare of your pets if this passes. Extremely unqualified people will be taking care of your pets—and even doing surgery on your dogs and cats with little to no training (and you won’t know it).”

This is misleading. The training is inadequate. It is being pushed by large corporations who don’t genuinely care about your pet. It’s all about corporate greed and making a quick buck. Vote “No” on prop 129.

Veterinarians in Colorado are opposed to Proposition 129 and they are speaking out about it. Hear a local vet explain why adding a mid-level position will endanger animals and not result in better clinical outcomes for animals. Gain a new perspective on this critical issue and understand what is at....

Cute lil much loved turtle found in our parking lot on Friday. No micro chip and no tags. Please call to claim so the poor pup missing this cutie can have a happy reunion. Physical exam findings were good with the exception of some exposed squeaker but it doesn’t look like a fresh wound and did not require treatment .
